Noted but you would expect any takeover over to be attractively priced and reflective of high COS. Sure, shareholders will miss out on some upside but I’m sure a takeover (at the right price and properly justified) will be well received by major shareholders.

Very good news - the coverage should help bring new investors in. Added more this morning. I would be surprised if Eco is still around as an independent company in 6 months' time based on my experience in M&A. Recent OPEC cut should help stabilise oil market and provide more comfort/certainty for big players considering exploration M&A.

Wow - excellent confidence. Sounds like no new CPR. Next update re. second drill will be in January. Based on that interview, I have no idea how this still only has a 75m market cap. Surely makes ECO vulnerable to takeover bid.

There is definitely something going on behind the scenes. Eco BOD have a duty to act in best interests of its shareholders, so it should not be holding back any price sensitive information. It may be the case that an updated CPR is being held back from being commissioned on the nod of Total but that is a risky move by the BOD. Question - Why do ECO need to commission an updated CPR? It is not raising cash...

I am very pleased that we are seeing a conservative approach re. public announcements. No point blowing hot air - I have seen so many companies raise expectations too early causing a lot of SP volatility. There will be a big RNS at some point but not yet. And for that I am happy.

Strap in - This could be a wildly exciting ride over the next 6 months. The potential upside here is extremely good. Very hard to understand the ECO market cap - the COS assumption this is based on is simply far too conservative and not accurate - understandable from a director liability perspective - makes me want to put more money in all the time! #mustresist

We shall see. I think the SP correction has further to run, sadly. Mainly because I think the market sees little room for error growth wise and there is a strong whiff of serious UK retail woes ahead.

I have no doubt that the long term looks good for FEVR. I just think that the current market (which is only twitchy atm, and could very well turn extremely ugly in the next few weeks and beyond) warrants investor valuation adjustments. I.e. a forward PE of 50 as of 4-6 months ago is not the same as today. The counter to this is that the SP has already come off a lot. Never try and time markets - agreed but the above may well explain why some people are locking in profits.

Also from a technical level this looks awful. 2000 would seem next level of support although we will see how the next couple of weeks plays out. Not the best two weeks to be hoping for support

This is going to 2000. It is simple. Great company, great product. Unbelievable expectations on growth. Current market cannot justify such a high PE ratio.

Hi all. I have been reading this board for a while having acquired circa 16,000 shares over the past couple of months. Time to join in! Couple of minor observations: 1. The SP appears to be at the lower resistance level - will be interesting to see if the SP holds. 2. seems strange that some investors are profit taking given the deluge of (what should be positive!) news we can expect in the near future. ECO should not really be affected by the recent oil price fall. 3. TLW capital market day - I suspect TLW will be vary careful with what they say about Orinduik vis-à-vis early drilling and/or drilling strategy - I don't expect a huge impact on SP. 4 - Updated CPR should be extremely interesting. This to me is the key - if the CPR reflects an substantial increase in COS (to the more optimistic levels of some commentators/my contacts in the exploration game), we could see a big SP upwards correction - anyone have any insight into when that is expected? 5. Seen some posts about potential value of Eco which seem to miss the fact that market cap (if Eco strikes oil) is only likely to be around 50-60% of NAV.
