The SP does make me nervous but you are right the trading volume has been in the normal range and Tullow have held up surprisinly well this week given the continued PoO hammering. I don't think info has leaked. I am not worried by a 'duster', I am worried by the manic selling that will ensue if ther is one and the pain it will cause me! Long term, I have no doubt Eco will be a successful investment. This is not your average penny stock IMO. Strap in gents. Its almost time. An announcment surely due this week?

Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse for Neil Woodford - poor bloke. And poor BUR shareholders.

After a 250% increase in Q1 Eco has tanked 35% from highs. Its been a wild ride so far. The share price pre-drill is extremely dissapointing but lets see the RNS. Given the macro environment, there will be a biiiiig sell off if the results are bad. I for one am expectigng this and have a reserve fund ready to go after 1-2 days of carnage. I suspect a lot of sellers also have funds ready to buy back in at around 35-40 pence.

Selling started way before drill - so it’s not a leak of inside info. Plus all markets are down last couple of days. Nervous times for investors generally.

We certainly are in the calm before the storm. Bad results will send this back to 40 pence IMO. Good results and we are looking at at least 100% increase (potentially substantially more). Going to be one day of mayhem soon! Fingers crossed it comes next week. I'm guessing a lot of SHers will have funds ready to go...

Rusty inspires confidence. I worked on the DGOC float and the management team is first class and extremely ambitious, diligent and sharp. The SP can't stay at this level for too long. The discount to NAV and divi yield are surely too attractive. Anyone have any insight on the possible move to the main market??

Yes, I have made this point before. Tullow and Eco MUST disclose as soon as they are in possession of material price sensitive info. Obviosuly, there is a grey area here as they need to be sure of the accuracy of what they say . I suspect that they have a pretty good idea of the results but are taking a very cautious approach and giving themselves a lot of time to confirm their findings. One way or the other! If its worth anything, i would have thought its easier to confirm good news that bad news, so I would say positive news should NOT come at the end of the 40 day guidance....

QP will be looking at the big picture. They will be interested in a share of circa 30 plus targets and are not motivated by just one first bite of the apple....

Interesting news. 2 possibilities here ... 1. Tullow have encountered a problem with the drill and have decided to re-drill/side track, thus requiring more time. 2. They have found oil and have decided to do immediate surface flow testing. The Stena Forth doesn't have full flow testing equipment on board, so they could be extending this to allow for surface flow testing before the end of the year. This would require the equipment to be shipped to Jethro Lobe and would take a couple of months. In this scenario, the Stena Forth could still be moved to the next drill location for spudding and then revisit to flow test later in the year.
As a side note, this notice was dated Thursday, one day after Tullow's interims. At the interims, there was no mention of problems with the well and in fact they said that they were 'just about to explore the really interesting part' or something along those lines.
