What a great past two weeks for the SP! What do we think the next ECO announcements will cover/state?

Disappointing market reaction - I think mainly based on debt being circa 200m (at 3.1billion) higher than expected (2.9b) and production slightly at the lower end of expectations.

Guyana exciting tho' and the future looks bright for TLW!

Could do but could equally tank 5% if expectations aren’t met - difficult one to gauge this given the recent PoO and SP rally

Tullow trading update on Wednesday morning - looking forward to reading that.

Anyone have any idea what a more normalised share price should be (for a small AIM wildcat co) based on the finncap and Berenberg valuations of 96 to 110 p (risked)? It seems to me that current share price is still out of whack and there is significant upside even pre drilling...

Also, is anyone able to explain how a unitisation deal with Exxon would work at this stage? I can’t believe that Exxon would entertain any talks now based solely on geological data. Surely oil would need be proven by drilling first?

I suspect will be a big month for Eco! Then May/June for the big one (hopefully!)

Gil mentioned drilling schedule expecting early Jan and yes Tullow also referenced that at its Capital markets Day. 110p risked comes in higher than Finncap's 96p - would be interested to read its analysis.

Hopefully the market will start to pick up on this opportunity, which has clearly gone under the radar in Q42018 given the market and PoO rout. Seems mad that the SP is currenty trading at over 50% of a risked NAV - seems over the top for Eco given the facts.

More encouraging news there is that the site o fhte second drill...

IJWT - Gil mentioned it in his last video interview pre Xmas. I agree with your analysis below. I would add that a fourth factor needs to occur - improvement of macro environment (ie receding fears of impending global recession and stabilisation of volatile oil prices - both of which will generally turn the sentiment towards wildcats positive).

Should be an announcement in the next couple of weeks as to the second drill site....

PE of 6.26. IF (BIG IFF) PoO stabilises at 65ish dollars, surely Tullow will get back to £2 in the next month or so?

Totally agree. I think the likely scenario of a takeover will only happen (i) once a 'geological discovery' is proved by virtue of Stabroek extending onto the block, or (ii) after a successful drill of Jethro-Lobe. I have no idea how easy or difficult the former is to do. Anyone have any experience of this? Still cant help but feel Eco's market cap is severely undervalued, even on a risked NAV basis. BUT, the market proves the value, so what do i know!

Having owned shares in TLW on and off over the past couple of years, it is basically an Oil ETF!
