LONDON (Alliance News) - Directa Plus PLC on Wednesday said three US investors have all sold their stakes in the company in transactions on Monday this week.
William Cate, Paul Calarco, and Robert Mercuri all sold holdings worth 3.7%.
Directa Plus also said Wednesday Patrick Soon-Shiong, a California-based investor, now holds 19% of the company following a deal on Friday last week. The company did not say how much he held before, if any.
Shares in nanomaterials firm Directa Plus were down 0.6% Wednesday afternoon at 48.70 pence each.

Hi RyeSloan, been doing more sleuthing Grafysorber and roads fits in well with Nants business model. Not so sure on the textiles yet but no reason why it couldn’t. Also the shares held by Nant Capital are physical, I noticed in the bottom left of the Tr1. The x is misleading at times. Make sure you read the Wikipedia on Patrick. He is one smart guy and I love the tax creativity with university of Utah! Very smart to pull that one off. Inspector Trek. Lol.

Well I think i’m about there now. I reckon some agreement has been coincidently reached with early investors to free up stock, nudge nudge, note also 3 more v large delayed trades, 700k + sells have just dropped in in the last hour. Patrick May covet Directa’s graphene technology for NantEnergy and they are using the Nant Capital team to make some sort of an arrangement. Now I must stress this is all my own opinion and guesswork based on some topsoil analysis so I could be miles out and have it all completely wrong, but a bb is for sharing views, ideas opinions within the law. So don’t shoot the messenger if this is all bllx. Trek all disclaimers applied and my battery is low, needs a Nant Graphene one! Lol!

Guys, I am invested here and in Directa Plus. DCTA. today DIRECTA get four holdings RNSs out of the blue where what looks like 3 early investors have sold out, 3.69% each and then a multi billionaire buys just about all the stock
out there and then I think hedges another 11% of the Co, oh and the sp hardly moves. Other than patents I can’t spot the link. If anyone has stumbled on any news whilst researching VRS I’d be grateful if you could share it on the DCTA board, thanks. Trek, gratitudes.

This one makes more sense. He may have been an early stage investor in Directa. Not sure why now he would choose to sell...Paul Carlco also listed on a patent with Robert when they worked at Advanced Energy technology. So assume the three were early investors hence same percentage. Whats the link between them all selling and Patrick picking up probably their stock and as much stock on the open market as possible plus hedging ad the SP does diddly squat.

I don’t get how 3 people I have never heard of come to Dispose of exactly 3.69% of shares each. I can’t find the TR1 for there take up. The are not listed as major holders on 4traders and I can’t find major holdings on the Co website.

One of our sellers William David Cate has previously been involved in carbon composite related patents, and one for fire ******ants, assuming they are same person.

You can dig forever on this stuff and not even sure what I am looking for will browse some more later but suffice to say Patrick has raised a few eyebrows in the past with his business and philanthropy but he is a smart guy who knows how to make money even when one of his stocks tanks! Trek, nosy buggr!

Patrick is worth 9bn USD and likes his patents, an absolutely amazing guy. I wonder if Guilio met with him as part of the National graphene body in US, directa and VRS were represented. My speculation. But he obviously likes us. Probably couldn’t buy enough stock as we are pretty illiquid so has hedged some. Anyways whatever he is a very successful person assuming one and same and knows exactly what he is doing. Very excited about this one, been here ages and think we at could booom very soon and may even start to close gap with VRS MCAP. Trek with juices flowing!

There’s our buyer Patrick Soon-Shiong, he may have been responsible for buys since 24th Jan. I can’t tell the order types as the trade page won’t load on the London stock exchange for Dcta. He has 7.89% direct and 11.07 indirect, possibly CFDs and more likely long as he has a large physical holding. That’s a massive amount, is there a private takeover coming, I am not sure of the % rules before announcing but this is huge for a minnow and the SP hasn’t even moved. Perhaps we are in before the market wakes up to this. Now that would be nice! Need to do some more research on these guys. Would be nice if there was an explanation RNS. Trek all imo.

Looks like the SP is moving closure to 50p in anticipation of a successful hook up so if we succeed the SP will fall and if we fail we won’t be told so it (sp) will stay where it is until it falls then we will know that we have succeeded if that happens before the RNS. If we get an RNS first the sp will rise intially and then fall finishing down. Trek, getting the hang of this oil stuff now.

Bought three more tranches since the duster and now average below 5p. Happy with that as can hopefully derisk from the before next drill and decide from there. Thank you seller. Trek

Could prove a very good move esp if Abcam come again. Imo sp being forced down now for just that. Look at all the ALGO trades on LSE designed to panic peeps into selling to build up liquidity. The results were fab this fall is not justified imo. Trek cynical or prescient time will tell.

Didn’t we submit the EA therefore we have commenced drilling and then it all went quiet thereafter. Lost the will to live with this one now. Trek.

Just bought 2k shares here and the SP spiked just as I was buying! Sod’s law as it’s been flat the whole day so if someone wants to sell I will let you know when my next buy is lol. Trek, timing the market!

Well there’s a surprise some hefty sells today. Could be poor old Woody selling his winners to cover up elsewhere yet only down a penny? Probably a competing order being filled. Really happy to hold and add here in next ISA season. Trek let the numbers do the talking and value will out.
