Non of the previous placings have been heavily discounted. Some companies get it right with their shareholders. GC is a top CEO and obviously with PSS’s financial means it was never going to be a dreaded aim giveaway.

There are others that get it right like ONC who pulled off a premium.

However, the SP’s of both have tended to dip below the placing before starting a recovery to a new level.

Another +£300k UT trade. This one took us up 3.6p at the close!

Could be an opportunity to sell a few and grab them back cheaper at the opening bell on Monday if you like to trade the margins.

There were two previous drills but they did not land in the magnetic anomaly however they returned pathfinders....

Nothing is nailed on but we should find out pretty soon especially if the 50m depth is accurate. I am assuming because they keep quoting GGP’s results they have had some comparative data from them.

What would really help is if we could get a fast track from the labs for the first couple of holes.

Timing of news matters not as we are still in a reasonable window given the complexity.

If we do have news on the 17th I would be fine if it that was a deferral to the new year!

That’s my preference actually as momentum will fade towards Christmas even if it is cancelled!

I do seem to have a few folk that follow my posts. I know hubris is a dangerous thing and in all honesty humility is the better trait and that is the behavioural preference that I aspire to.

So why this post. Well I just hope it provides an alternative narrative that helps folk.

It just seems somewhat coincidental. I have mentioned my investment here on some other boards. Likewise on GLO a boring FTSE250 divi stock. But there were no posts until recently and interest on both seems to have picked up. There are others and it’s equally likely fantasy on my part!

I hope no one pins their hopes on my trading for their success but rather factors in new data and options.

I would love to claim some credit for hitting the bottom here at 1.69xx but rather my thoughts are with investors locked in higher. That I do know how it feels! It’s why I have assumed a more active trading position now.

Averaging in and recycling profits by trading a % to try and improve one’s average.

No system is perfect but I am sat here now near evens and will hopefully sell some at the next spike to feed back in thereafter at a lower SP.

If it runs ahead all the better! I still hold 75% of my position.

It’s comments like that that get a few folk upset!

For me it’s nothing necessarily negative about the company. You have to believe in the fundamentals before investing. It’s just that on AIM even though the fundamentals improve the SP often goes down!

So given AIM is for allegedly ‘sophisticated investors’ our investment strategies would likewise be diverse and ‘sophisticated”.

So for here I intend to keep 75% as I now have a good price and trade 25%. The first sell will be in the next spike at 2.5p. Anything less and I will wait.

You have to factor in tax to buy back, spread and trading costs although mine is only £3.99.

But all said it depends on the news or not. I say 2.5p but that could change. The point is I am prepared to sell a percentage if appropriate to work my average. That may be selling to average up or down.

This has enabled me to reduce losses. Yes losses! Significantly on some stocks. It has also enabled me to bank some profits on shares that are now suddenly much lower! For some I have bought 125% and traded to a comfortable 100%. You decide!

I won’t bother posting about trading here again as when I posted my trades on ECR. A falling SP. It just pssd people off! That’s not my intention. Incidentally I am nearly back to evens there from 3.3p!

Ignore what I say and stick to the golden rule. Protect your capital! No capital and you are out!

Looks like the sub 10’s have gone now. I managed 25k top up. I looked at my trading history on ii.

Last time I got some for sub 10p other than the recent dip to 7’s was way back in April!

Incredible really when you think of the amount of progress made since then and now we are drilling in a tier 1 postcode!

I have been dripping in 100k buys from 1.84.

I can assure you that 1.69xx trades here in red are buys.

The next 100k that pops up is mine it was 1.6949 from memory.

It’s my ‘banking’ based on my experience. Whilst my narrative doesn’t fit all it doesn’t make me a deramper. I just intend to derisk and still let a substantial amount ride.

Whilst the odds are extremely in our favour it’s not guaranteed. I won’t just post my concerns for the sake of it as it’s been covered before and I still think on balance it will come good.

Incidentally I am on +2x free carry here from 30p and buys are with profits from elsewhere. I have no problem paying more. That’s the values at that point in time but 8 am adding to my 30p holding.

SNG, AVCT, NCYT, GDR, ORPH, DDDD have been very good to me. Only because I traded them and have now sold all bar SNG. My vote of confidence in SNG.

SNG is the only so called covid stock I have a position in now. I picked up a few HEMO recently, bottom fishing, but that is not just covid.

It’s the different views that make a market and if you qualify those views imo that makes for a healthier debate.

All said I can change my mind in an instant if the data changes. E,g. If there is an EUA, Activ-2 progression to sales before P3...

Anything could happen in the interim which swings things either further from or closer to our objectives. I will then adjust accordingly.

As these are the first drills I wouldn’t put out any pXRF results. It takes lab assays to at least calibrate the pXRF against mineralisation. Arsenic and Antimony will likely be good pathfinders but the pXRF will only read pathfinders and not gold.

Even visible gold is not nailed on. Pyrite can also throw that!

Once we get the first set of lab assays back then we will know or rather have a better indication if we are track.

Any RNS ramping visible gold and pathfinders will imo only move the SP dial short term.

The market will be more interested in lab results, thickness, g/t etc.

There is no longer many points on aim for a well spud, a drill commencement, aeromags, soils, postcodes etc. It takes a healthy cash position and a regular accumulative flow of value enhancing hard data to move the dial and keep it there.

Folk are unfortunately learning that, self included, the hard way!

Well I have now doubled my position here. Every trade I have made recently my next buy has been cheaper! Seems odd but I am not complaining!

I also expected a bounce with the 0.5% short going to zero. So wtfdik!

I have one buy left. Set to catch any flash crash! An opportunistic one.

I won’t though be letting everything ride on the readout.

Not what folk like to hear it but I am banking on +£3.50 arriving as a spike affording an exit ahead of results as the shoot or bust money arrives.

Once that is in range I will set some sells to hopefully exit half on a double from here. The rest can again ride!

SNG has been the share that just keeps on giving for me. I have been very fortunate and I tend to play the same hand again. It still leaves me with enough to make a dent in some mortgages or even pay them off!

Some folk would have taken a position to sell into news. 7-8p was available not so long ago.

Imminent drilling commencement has been well telegraphed.

There hasn’t been the expected reaction so they’ve moved on.

All these imperfections make a market.

Most goldies, biotechs and O&G small caps for that matter have been hammered this year so why stick around.

Imo you have to pick what you see as quality and work your average.

I picked WSBN and have worked my average here but I agree with some less rampy posters. The RNS was a missed opportunity to improve shareholder engagement.

SP decline has had a bit of a ‘throw your teddy out’ response from the bod imo. They need to be better than that!

I hold. I note we were blue today then in a blink 1.62, year low is 1.6 but it does seem to recover quickly to +1.7.

The share also responds well to news or even a hint of news. I am trying to objectively think what’s holding it back given the acceleration in ops post funding.

All I can think is the market is looking at the cash burn 5-6m per 6months and factoring that runrate against the 10.5m at end of June 21. Whilst cash spend is not like for like quarter to quarter it does indicate that we may need cash provision by H2 22 or at least some clarity around the non dilutive funding.

Any milestone payments or collaboration news will do much to lift the SP. Biotechs are as much about finance as solving ‘world hunger’.

As it is even operational news has been thin with nothing since October.

I think if you tot these factors up it helps appreciate where the SP is as well as the opportunity for a rapid rerate when the BoD add a little colour.

I am not saying we need news every week just that the longer we lack clarity, the more we eat into the cash, the more nervous the market becomes. Especially in what could be a new era of higher interest rates. That always hits small caps harder.

The market needs a steer.

There is often the assumption that warrants are sold. These come into play on 14th Dec at 20p.

Seems quite astute timing I’d say. Having held the warrants all that time I doubt they’d be looking to sell the pari passu shares at 25p and yet the market seems to factor in the dilution and an impending sale!

I am bullish SNG but in a word to your statement. No. SNG will help hospital bed churn and reduce dwells but it won’t be a silver bullet for lockdowns.

One of the key drivers for lockdown is the impact of the forward virus infection curve on hospital beds. Atm the more developed economies are green. But they fear what is around the corner....
