What great news to wake up to. Looks like I will be able to sell Thursdays buy early next week for 10%!

Keeps my core holding in tact. Manages risk and skims the top. That will be well over 2.5 bags out safely.

Of course a successful P3 and no doubt about it hold and hug will win this one from any entry price but that has not been the case for the majority of stocks on AIM!

We all add to our ISA’s on Monday 4th April paying £2.50 for shares that were £1.50 the previous trading day!

Mind you that’s still cheap! Lol!

For transparency I am out. No intentions to deramp. I still think this will come good but have added elsewhere.

Got this one wrong and put so much time into it. I can’t believe today’s news didn’t result in a rise!

Don’t think anyone can be blamed. The stock hasn’t been ramped it’s been backed on substance but the turn of events have been completely unforeseen against a completely hostile smallcap market.

I traded down as well as I could to minimise my losses. Hopefully this bounces back soon for holders like some others now have.

A couple have popped today, WSBN up as well where I hold.

No reason for the drop and no reason for the rise there. Even here it’s been low volume driven of late.

It’s a funny world when few say they sell. Most are always buyers, always hug.

Even Zac’s charts only ever seem to go up. I haven’t seen many sell recs and yet look at the charts for most small caps.

As for Avct glad I did sell. It needs to go up significantly to get to my average. All said great news today and I am bullish for them. I just need clarity on finance before I buy back in.

Look at how much SNG have spent to get to this P3! Absolute amazing British biotech story. Fantastic achievement imo no matter what!

No need to talk this one up mate.

You are nearly there. I tend to hold a core for something I like and trade 20% or so on news. That may involve selling and buying back cheaper like on PXC and GLO recently to improve my average or slicing and buying back cheaper, hopefully like here.

I only buy stock I have researched and have a position in though as trades don’t all go well.

Skippy well said. I concur with that strategy for a newbie potential investor here.

As for the traders. Let’s see if another buy today yields a 13% return by selling into the close tomorrow like last weeks did.

EVEN 8% will be nice!

Of course the only way to play this is if you don’t mind holding the stock if the trade goes against you!

My apologies for any misconceptions but I can assure you it was never my intention to deceive.

I seem to remember saying openly that I had taken profits and you intimated that you may have bought the shares that I had sold. I was then and am now still bullish on ONC as I am with my other remaining pharma plays. IQAI, HEMO & SNG.

My rationale for selling some ONC was to chase income. DLG, MNG, AV, GLO, PAY etc, not because ONC was a sell. I can’t find the post but I think I was reasonably transparent and may have mentioned those stocks unless it was another bb. Well I would like to think declaring my sell at least portrayed some honesty but I must stress my sell was not because of ONC. Likewise I declared I recently added some stock again as cash has become available.

If you follow the sector pretty much all pharma small cap and in general all small cap shares are significantly down. There are only a few exceptions.

I have 29 stocks in my pharma tracker only 3 are up over the year GSK, AZN larger cap and APF, mid cap I guess. All the others, mostly small caps are down and ONC is actually one of the best performers. But it is granted, the ‘tallest dwarf!’

I hope that helps assuage your concerns but I recognise it looks pretty shtty! Albeit not my intention. I also maintain my price target of £4 here. I am confident that whoever inherits that signing holding will do well.

For transparency at our other friend DCTA. I am not digging back but I seem to remember I said they’d raise and posted as such. I also said I sold and that I expected the SP would dip below the placing price. This has happened. But I am also bullish on them and I would buy back there now if I had cash but I am committed elsewhere. Can’t do it all!

In terms of your more familiar sectors, for transparency I hold and intend to continue to hold TXP, SAVE & COPL (a small position) in O&G

For gold WSBN, LEX, LND, ECR & PXC. LEX as a trade, LND likely to reduce/sell on MRE. ECR I may sell into any rise today as I need cash. PXC I will add more if it pulls back. WSBN the jury is still out but I have a low average but hope to sell half on a double if results are good.

Nope, not yet but it hasn’t broken support neither. Looks more like 1.8 than 1.5 next which is positive.

Should be mid Feb but I get confused with these companies as sometimes they rns when they are due sometimes they don’t.

Adam has been a buyer though which helps.

This continues to be a slow burn and yet stock is tightly held.

I doubt the results will be a catalyst to rerate. Yoy earnings growth is always a beat. It’s transformational deals the market seems to like.

Some US sales could do it but I think we need a US acquisition to get a lab in the states for serious interest.

Early days still in biotech time!

This pays out 6.5% within a period of 7 months from the Mar 31st ex divi date to 25th Nov 22 with a chance of a special divi and a very likely 10% divi increase during the period. I expect the results to be a beat over and above guidance given energy prices.

There isnt much stock around hence why the MM’s are forcing through small trades to range bound the SP. However, this is a solid income pay not really for capital growth. If it gets to fair value at +250p range I will be surprised. That’s just how it is in this sector where similar closed funds such as uk wind, greencoat etc trade at nav discounts with slow capital growth.

The benefit is it’s a defensive income play.

I think both will do very well. I can see a path for £10 for Txp and over £1 for save. So the question really should be around risk attitude rather than either or.

I am split 60/40 in favour of Txp just because of my risk bias which predominantly comes down to postcode.

TXP, massively undervalued imo. CPR due Mar 14th. Buying sub £1 a bargain. Watch last investor presentation on proactive.

Also COPL one to watch. Just a bit early atm.

Also helps a little when there are fewer shares in issue. LND’s book is pretty tight. Once the seller is out it should move back up as quickly as the drop!

PXC is similar mcap, likewise few shares and also bouncing today.

Bodes well for when we get MRE as it seems mcap is dictated by buying and selling more so than intrinsic value.

A good MRE will bring buyers hoping for a higher price tag on takeover.

What I like is I sold half on the chart, bought half back in the chart and now blue!

It’s not often you get one like that in such a short space of time.

I may add some more later but depends on some trades elsewhere. But for sure I am not selling here again for sometime now!

On the contrary imo it’s a clear signal to shorters. Like a carcass to vultures. They will arrive in droves. Knowing the raise will be at a significant discount because of the ‘market conditions’.

I guess they only have enough money to stand still. If they move forward operationally they need cash. So they have enough to pay themselves. But then if they don’t know how much they got how do we!!
