SP taking a while to get going but for sure the City seem to be following the press reports. Just hit 648.67 on the spike. May have another go at 650 later!

Time to buy here was on the dip below 600p. That’s now given me a nice cushion especially given the horrid war!

There was also an opportunity for investors had they read across from MNG results!

Tucking this one away now for the pension!

SMS report tomorrow and GLO on the 18th March. If the market holds up both of those should do well. I picked up SMS at 694 average and GLO now at 185p as I have held them longer and traded my average down recently.

For sure the FTSE100 - 250 is an easier place to to make money than my usual AIM stomping ground!

MNG was an outstanding buy I rebought them at 169 on the nose having sold at 208!

Well it’s about time we had some market beats here…

· Record cash generation1 of £1,717m in 2021 (2020: £1,713m) exceeds our £1.5bn-to-£1.6bn target range for the year.

Delivering of 400m from transformation is also impressive.

Likewise the solvency 2 won’t go a miss especially if there is regulatory easement as that could mean more returns.

3% divi increase is welcome but underwhelming. GLO have 10% yoy increase baked in and that’s a quarterly payer!

Nonetheless a good set of numbers and about time this one was loved a little more.

Put my neck out and expect a decent rise today to +650p.

GLO, recently did buy back.

It’s in energy sector, 22 countries not UK. Mostly alternative energy but some coal. Rated ESG B.

6.6% yield 1.9 times covered. Quarterly divi and it goes up 10% each year as income is so predictable.

Benefiting from fx tailwinds atm as in euro and dollar. Offloaded Brazilian assets recently to reduce currency risk. May pay a special divi with proceeds or acquisition.

Held up well during war. FTSE250 company pretty overlooked by city that don’t get the debt structure which is at each asset and not company level. This imo reduces risks further.

As Europe looks for more alternatives to Russian energy GLO is well positioned for growth. Just waiting for the market to understand that!

Trades 180-190 atm. Has had some sides to 170’s and some pops to 190’s but don’t buy for instant capital gain. It’s a rock solid defensive income play. My 3rd highest holding but accounts for 50% of my income so I know the company pretty well.

Well I traded a few here to protect cash given the war and got another 2p off my average.

It won’t take long for the market to switch on to our European alternative energy production.

I just don’t get why the market is so often so far behind bog standard PI’s. One then ends up questioning one’s own rational.

Anyways I still have a decent position here, third highest in my pf.

Results 18th March should help the city so called analysts decide! They will probably look in here for an explanation! Lol!

You mean 1 to 4 from oct 2020. I think that was to increase liquidity due to shareholder base. They then bought stock back and put in treasury to be later released as a divi.

I think that’s all in the journey and further outlines how cash generative the business is!

Market has overreacted on the numbers. This will be back to 250 support pdq from oversold imo.

I have bought in as a divi play. Needless to say it’s now gone lower!

Massive disconnect between chairman’s statement and market reaction! Record breaking results = 12month sp low!

Can’t both be right. I think drop is now overdone and we will get a volume boost from war.

The vix is bound to be much higher given the war. CMC should have a bumper period!

The buyback is a huge vote of confidence and would only be after a divi was secure.

There is a change in sentiment between the tone of the sept 3rd trading update and the recent q3 announcement.

I think this is set for a rerate! There’s even a handle on the TA!

Overweight from here and intend to sell down into the rise then hold the core for the future divi’s. What an opportunity!

Only in T&T does approval mean that following approval two more approvals are required by the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs. Then I expect there will be submissions before further approvals.

I don’t know how long it will take. Shouldn’t be too long though as it’s testing an escalated dose to ascertain safety levels in patients that have pretty much been identified. Note the word ‘sponsored’ is key!

It’s just great to get some news out!

I bought a few today to average down. When running dummy trades there were only 100k left at 4.5p going into the close. Once they go we should get a leg up. Well blue at least!

It’s not that the communication has been poor. That I can live with if it’s busy busy busy.

It’s that there has been a blatant withholding of market sensitive information! That is completely disingenuous and arrogant!

I have reported such issues before to the MAR and they are a complete waste of time!

Whether the asset is good or not the point is what do I believe now from this charlatan…

There are many fantastic CEO’s on AIM that reply to shareholders emails, where appropriate, engage as appropriate and release timely news with integrity.

There are others where their IR is abysmal but they do a good job operationally.

Then there is this situation…

Hence I sold!

My personal view is I am better off staying away unless there is a significant change in behaviour. I made money on one trade here and lost on another so it’s not sour grapes.

Anyone looking in just make sure you really read through the RNS’s and do some tight DD before committing any funds.

I know you should do that anyway but I mean pay particular attention and also remember nearness does not necessarily = gold.

Glad the narrative on Coho has changed. I think Paul is now more aligned with shareholders insofar as 1333 boe /day is significant. It’s double what we were!

Not sure why then when all the paper work was signed off last month we couldn’t have been told then.

He also had an opportunity explain to technical Luddites like me about the technical hitches at least to allay concerns. For sure I get this is oil and there are risks but that interview was an opportunity.

Also not much mention of the ops strategy going forward beyond Royston what’s now on for Chinook.

I get under promise and over deliver but this has gone from ‘wall of cash’ to like what’s the plan. Obviously he has one but it looks like it’s being kept closer to his chest given the last run.

Poor interview imo and I am bullish TXP. It’s my biggest position but I thought that wasn’t Pauls best interview.

Thankfully the asset is world class and better than one poor day at the office!

RNS’s are not dependent on close period. That’s just for director dealing ahead of results, bar a few odd exceptions that have to be approved by the regulators

With the poo and the outlook for Africa as a more prominent supplier for sure the NNPC will compete for the assets. This could consequently be wrapped up in legals for months!

I set a buy at 100p for 10k having seen how much other producers were up today. It got filled at 99.5p. I was hoping it would tick down further as had another lower order but it looks to have pulled back now. Poo to the rescue!
