What’s taking my fancy atm is SEIT. See my posts there for context.

Yields +14% and gone into window . Forced by Saba hedge fund. They couldn’t give a monkey about the sp as they are set to gain from the NAV gap closure on a firesale. So buyers now get high yield and the a return (likely by issuance of B shares) when the assets are sold.

In the meantime the divi’s are fully covered by revs. As SEIT are in energy efficiency and renewables that macro story has also turned in its favour of late.

So you are very likely to get yoyr money back through disposals and paid +14% for waiting!

Others I tip atm are SEQI, FGEN and TRIG all high yield renewables that have diversity in their pf’s and divi’s are well covered.

Then there are some good bond/ABS/CLN investment out there that are coackroach free like TFIF and BIPS that I hold these increase divi yoy. Or there is RECI that is solid high yield and +10% atm but divi is flat/

Then there are loads of REITS out there like CREI and LMP both increasing yield or you have RGL if you want high yield (even with divi that’s just been cut) and a turnaround story. CEO got lots of skin in and sub 90 was bottom imo.

Then there are the usual suspects in insurance like MNG and SDLF - I sold those at 50% gains to get more yield and only hold LGEN atm (traded it) as it has some catching up to do I got 230 ish. Then there CSN in same space. That one is class if you can get sub 290.

Others like GRI a renter is so cheap and CORD digi infrastructure with loads of director buys are hidden gems.

I structured my pf into quarterly and bi-annual payers to give me a monthly income.

The pf yields about 10% atm. It has been higher but I sold some winners like SDLF (PHNX) that I had at 480p for +700p as that enable me to get more yield when reinvesting the capital but makes the pf look lower. My income pf was up 52% from memory over the last tax year.

* October+: Enlow/Bleumer Spudding. Commencement of drilling on additional leases.

* Ongoing: Scout Energy Partnership. Continuous assessment of the 100–200 well opportunity in the Hugoton field.

I can’t vouch for the numbers. But what I will say is these next 6 months will be hugely transformational for MDH. I expect Nick is under broker orders for media silence!

If ROST twin comes in, we get the good spectrometry results then flow rates it’s gonna be huge. Not coz it’s one well but because it derisks a field. Then we have a 200 well opportunity with Scout. Now DYOR and see this +10bagger in the making imo — that’s only 100m mcap btw! lol!

Hi Tro,

I have traded it well but they have had some awful news with BoD members cooking some results.

They still need a heck of a lot of funding and are still awaiting the bond funding.

If funding news lands it will very likely multi-bag.

But it’s looking just as likely that senior holders could take over the company.

I am out atm and watching from the sidelines— if you don’t know the story I would say stay clear even if you miss out on a big spike.

If you want a piece of the action await news first. But be aware they haven’t even issued TR1’s when 15% of the company (from memory) changed hands! You can’t trust what they are saying and a NUI a bond holder are forcing an EGM.

Defo doesn’t fit a bottom bounce trade. More going on than that!

Saba have increased their TSR (total return swaps) to 15%. I guess now that the bod have agreed to wind down they don’t need the physical shares. Rather they can benefit from the closure in NAV gap through the TSR which is a cheaper financial instrument.

Going by the timing of the TR1’s Jeffries is the likely donor of the majority which fits their MO and gives them a much lower risk return on their position

The license must be landing soon and if it’s successful I dont want to be out! But if not… it’s tap water!

Against the political backdrop I just can’t see the govt delaying a sovereign energy storage facility. But then what has common sense gotta do with it…!

Warning EPP is one I have traded badly! 22% down atm and lost on some other trades albeit it’s always only been ‘beer money’. But it’s one where you only need to be right once and you can buy the house a round!

Seems to me you get money back via high yield, asset sale, buybacks or likely a mix of all which at this sp and discount is compelling!

Like I said — that’s how Saba see it and they are in at a higher sp!

I just had my ii tax year end performance through—my trading account ISA is up 240% this year and Mrs Trek’s sensible ISA is up 52%. I have no idea how they that work that out as we have been taking funds out to pay for holidays.

Total trades across the two accounts was 523 trades for the tax year —- at £3.99 a trade that’s over £2k in trading fees and then it’s £11.99 pm for the subscription! So you can see where the easy money is! But then I am pleased with the performance as I have traded Mr Trumps volatility rather well.

As for ARV I still hold 1m shares — am likewise about 35% down depending on time of day as spread is horrendous!

But foolishly I had decided to hold those as I thought and still do that great things are ahead — but now I am worried about the price of the next raise when it comes —- it always comes! But I think I will see how it goes for a bit longer. Titan could be huge or I will write that one off. It happens!

EPP — I tried to add on that pull back to 4.8p. Put a buy in for 5p! No chance—didn’t get filled! Spread is shocking!

Strategic proposal would come with raising more cash through equity — really what’s the point of that — good money after bad.

Wind down is best imo.

These assets are paying dividends from revenues— which is not good if you want to grown the business as you’d need to cut the dividends.

But it’s fine if you are then selling the assets and returning the cash to shareholders in place of the yield.

This is what I understand Saba wanted. They invested looking at NAV return that meant they made money whilst getting yield for waiting.

I added some at 39.5p on the dip and will be buying more — just want to time some trades.

Good result for new money a shocker for LTH’s! Saba sniffed that out!

Volume is key - there’s no volume in the opening 10mins to justify this drop. MM’s are gaming it, flush out some 40p stops and try and generate some liquidity.

Over this journey there will be more days like these.

This isn’t so much about the price of Helium today.

It’s more about the longer term availability and security of supply.

Rudyard could be a national Helium reserve that is tapped for domestic Helium and will attract its own premium price and possibly a buy out.

A warning shot has been fired about the fragility of supply and unlike the UK the US take such matters very seriously and actively!
