RE: Greed is Greed20 Jan 2021 12:40
I fully empathise with you, I got in at 110 too and topped up lower to bring avg to 104. However I feel it mis not greed. If you are exposing your hard earned to risk, you need proportional return. A relatively volatile asset such as ARB where you can lose most of your capital shouldn't be closed at a marginal profit, as it wasnt worth your risk. Of course that is theoretical, and individual shares and circumstances change but by your approach, the people who bought in at 8p would have sold well before 15.
I held on too, didnt book profit but that is because the reasons I got in long term remain. And honestly I think BTC has a different story in this bull run due to institutions and I would like to see it unfold. I feel your angst though, I could've left my money in NEX where it was slowly growing but got 'greedy', but I think a calculated ramp-up in risk is not exactly greed.
Good luck, to you and me and everyone staring at ugly numbers right now !
