1 I learn that there is cap-xx ip inside and will top up like hell and after that post it Overhere what I just learned.

Since I was totally wrong last time with the S8....I´m now going to shut up and wait until we see the first teardown on 25th-26th August.

As a consumer, I would be very disappointed if my smartphone of $1000 malfunctions in the first year. But if my $50 s pen malfunctions, I would not be that critical. I would even consider to buy on the aftermarket another color or design.

This means that the reliability tests during design in phase might be less strict for an S pen than a phone. This also means easier entry for new suppliers and shorter design times.

I was triggered by the selling price reduction.

Why would you reduce the selling price (reduce your margin) in the situation that you have 20M on enquiries on your table ?

My theory: Get entry to a big named company using your product to obtain a huge exposure to the market. And on the other hand a product with a limited production time and a quite accurate volume projection (Or even only one batch).

Could be a very good strategic move.

Per my understanding, 3-4 months before release of a phone, the initial amount of compnents are sourced and stocked before assembly. Timing would fit.

Large volume and production capacity extension, would fit also.

Cilindical can, form factor could also fit.

So.... I think it is a valid question where these products went ?

Claretjay, thanks for sharing ! The video clearly shows a pencil. This is the exact application. Forced myself to keep quite after my S8 mistake, but I’m getting slowly excited....;-)
