The longer it takes the more I feel like it will be massive positive or massive negative developments around cap-xx.

Looking to the opportunities they have and the AVX/Murata/Mclaren rumors going on... it must be massive positive and they simple do not have time to babysit impatient PI´s... They simply focus on execution and setting up a healthy business... right ??

... keep wondering why this statement is done... they only reason I can figure out is that Lucid is working together with Samsung SDI on the car and that Atieva is working with Murata and/or Cap-XX on the formula E. It seems important to keep those two separate...

The good thing is that potential licensees also have to wait long for the outcome. For sure they won´t want to wait that long seeing AVX and Murata going forward with full throttle.

So, if I was a potential licensee, what would I do ?...I would go NOW for a licence for 2-3 years and build up my marketshare and then go again for negotations with the risk that I need to pay a high price or I don´t need them anymore due to new developments.

Profit, I have more confidence in cap-xx than IQE. They only had one big GaAs costumer back in 2016 where cap-xx has multiple. Investing in IQE was more a lucky shot that worked out well.

Looking forward to tomorrow, but do not expect much. I personally like the Musk attitude a bit more: IP is free for everyone, I just have the best engineers hired and competition will always be lagging.. Of course I wont complain if the plan works out in favor of cap-xx, but I will have more satisfaction in case they achieved it by market domination by hard working... I appreciate all good input the last days. Learned a lot. Thanks !

Learned a lot today about patents, ip and prior art. Thanks all for the good posts. Personally not my strongest point, so looking forward to this trading week, no clue what to expect. However also a good feeling after seeing again the wide range of applications avx and murata are promoting with the cap-xx licensed products. These guys for sure are playing a serious game with a serious business mindset.

The IP discussion: I simply think main focus should be volume growth and brandname... the IP is a secundary thing. Nice example is Ambilight from Philips: ip was not strong, but competition simply didn’t use it because it was obvious A Philips invention.
