Indeed. I suspect that Ethernity would own it and the vendors would have access to it. I suspect that the vendors would manufacture from the design and Ethernity would drop the code in.
Integration with each server would be the only bespoke part of the process.

I have attached was talking with a contact in Israel last night about the DU product. Nit a Ethernity employee but nearby and in the Telecom industry.
The opinion is that Ethernity are developing the new product with all 3 server vendors in a collaborative way. They are not competing and Ethernity will supply the same product to all. This is effectively a working group to set a standard for this product type.
The evaluation are against the parameters of a conventional NIC and external router and a typical 4G plus arrangement.
There are no similar products to trial against. The expected development time is up to 12 months. It's possible that a market ready DU product could be available this year.
The market for the product is looming and there is a significant pressure to get this done.
My thoughts are that Ethernity will receive significant design win payments later this year. Certainly a couple of million per vendor.

GO it happens all the time on every share. The buy or sell is simply how it is at the time of reporting not the trade time. Looking back it is easy to see what it may be. Trades are delayed many believe to make things appear in a certain way.

Tier-1 is peer to peer. They supply other providers with Telecom.

On the takeover front in Covid times it would have to be quite an important issue to get American suits in Ethernity Towers in Israel. A buy out, a partnership alliance or something else. Tests, quarantine and hassle even travelling on a private route.

I was rereading some posts on here about the DU product that questioned the Ethernity unique features and product. I think the point missed is the others have the DU close to the RU. That requires very basic functionality and complex expensive compute. Ethernity are further down the process often using existing PON running on CoTS servers with the DU unit installed. This has many advantages in performance and cost. Potentially it also offers reliability and accessibility as the DU can be networked closer or within the central office.
It is a new approach that is a game changer. Ethernity has patents covering the way the data chunks are moved that makes it hard to replicate (I am told).
Ethernity are perfecting this with major server producers. They will be evaluated against existing products.

Without the liquidity there would be no rising share price. Very few shares were in free float. We had many days with just a couple of trades. It was very hard to buy or sell often. Things are much healthier now, especially with 6 MMs from the previous 4.

Prior to those we had no RNS so have to assume that they sold enough to remain below 3%

5G must have sold at a loss. Hopefully they won't be so quick to take more. Trigger 40p/30p warrants and funding concerns are gone. Cashflow positive is now about 6 months away and the gap will close between now and then.

Interest at 40p is strong. 40-50p looks like the inevitable range through trigger of the remaining warrants.
The story is leaking out and we can expect broad interest into the next leg up. I believe in a couple of months we'll be over £1.

Naming a company to use for OpenRAN stops it being OpenRAN. The whole point is that it is not tied to a vendor.
People need to understand that no single company will take everything. 5G is a very complex arrangement and the radio side is a very small part of the problem. They will use servers and Ethernity could very well be in those. They will use virtualised appliances and Ethernity could very well be in those.
The network is a small part. We need to look at what connects to the network and that's where the real investment is.
I say again winner doesn't take all hundreds of providers will make up every open network.
