Open means different things and actually nailing the specifications is contrary to Open as it defines. The important point is that it is interoperable. Ethernity doesn't develop for any existing framework but float amongst several main markets. There is absolutely no need for the framework to be the same as each ecosystem will evolve into the perfect creation for the environment, load and respond to the ever changing demands. Above all Open must be strong and flexible.

All the lists I see are upstream companies listed in the US. Ethernity uses products from some of those companies and are interoperable with products from others. What Ethernity does is not something that can be touched or held. It cannot be promoted to the public or sold at Currys. It is not something that is easy explained and when you do it dives of in a direction that you just haven't seen.
I think that the sustainable rise will be steps forward and backwards but generally heading up. When we get news with figures attached the market will wake up. We all know what is coming, we don't know when it will start to be recognised by the market. We know that Q1 is the start, the start will be small but it is here now.
I think that we will know much more very soon.

I think that we will get a chairman update and a trading update very soon probably within 2 weeks.
The share price is not an on or off button. A sustainable rise will be a continuation of the rising trend. The share price is on or even just below the trailing trend line. News will turn it up no news will drag it out before turning up. News will be positive compared to the previous update even just because scheduled events are now closer. The new shareholders don't even know Ethernity exists yet. A day or two at the top of the leaders board will change things.

This year for sure. Mass deployment in China will commence H2 but decisions about how will be made now. Field trials or small scale local networks are the start. Actual performance will determine the level of resource required for mass deployment. China and India look like Ethernity initial hunting ground.
The DU product currently with server vendors is a real game changer. Huge market, 3 vendors already engaged, development and testing ahead.
Next is commitment to a product line. They will position this product in their end to end solutions and they will be available to integrators building Networks.
We'll see income this year, H2 will be much better than H1. By year end the projections for next year should be a profit. The dynamic changes at that point.

Buys and sells are just about the mid price. The mid price is all about the MMs. We only have 6 so sometimes it lags a bit. This is why I often post the actual price from dummy trades

Not many Tier-1 server providers. We have seen HPE flag a complete 5G stack with a new server. DU solutions are immediate requirements and server providers will want their product out as soon as possible. With 3 involved I believe that it will be a race to deliver to market and they will secure access through Ethernity in the near term by contracting for the DU solution. I believe that they will all want the router on the NIC as to take the current version will be crazy. I believe that the field trials will be testing performance against a external router and proof of concept for up to 9 RU connected to 1 DU remote from the RU connected over fiber

A MM took the 10k and went straight across. Volumes are tiny. A couple of buys will wipe them out. They swap sides on pocket change which signals a changing direction. However it will take news to create any momentum. Until then they will continue to soak up weak holders.

Every day that goes past the feeling increases that something big is about to land. We are in the zone now after being sat a couple of years with future markets. Now is the time that products turn into sales and plans turn into deployment.
Ethernity are in several field trials after being selected over other similar products. Commitment and deployment follow. 5G is racing ahead and the need is now.

I see a rising trend which we are at the bottom of today at 34p. Next move should be up off the trend line.

I wonder how this is progressing. I am guessing it is Fiberhome. I see Fiberhome has a virtual UPF with specs sounding quite like Ethernity.

Still largely future markets but we are very close now. Certainly the next few months will produce the first orders for mass deployment and outcomes of field trials.

What is significant about the article is that HPE sees OpenRAN as a real viable thing. Ethernity need open networks to sell their products into. They cannot work within ASICs environments as there's no interoperability. What we see here is the network, what we are yet to see is devices connecting to the network.
Future markets for Ethernity.
Brian said recently that he believes that we'll see "private networks" in true 5G before mainstream public access. I think that he's right and these will effectively be the field trials of mass deployment.
Ethernity has major exposure and major potential with nothing or less than nothing priced in. Even if the share price never achieves a proper market valuation we can still expect many multiples of the current cap.

The answer to why the market doesn't see it yet is because it is complicated. You have to dig beneath the surface to see the roots. The market just buys the flowers. Once Ethernity becomes associated with a flower we will get attention but I suspect to see true value we will be waiting for the proof in financial terms.

Exactly and it also translates to very low costs to maintain that position. This leads to very high margins especially on virtual solutions.

No deployment will be won or lost by one entity. Ethernity model is as a component supplier with end to end solutions. In fact now Ethernity has a end to end capability but I don't think that any integrator is likely to select everything. Ethernity will supply component functions in many systems from mainstream providers. They won't make the headlines at deployment.

Kitlow the DU solution within a CoTS server could easily be included if HPE are one of three. Major OEMs will always want to provide a end to end solution but it is actually completely contrary to the open principle. This role should be performed by an integrator. The major OEMs are uncomfortable to release that grip.
