Skid I am talking about a very different dynamic preloading the share price to a more realistic level. This would not cause a dramatic rise but would help pass 5g IF. I would support a sustainable rise in the share price. It would do what they should be doing and allow the market to fairly value the business.

I see the challenge as getting from here to there. Strong news attracts a short term traders who inevitably ride the wave and sell. Yes it steps up but retreats a week later. This is not healthy for the long term.
Ethernity need to paint a picture for investors and potential investors. Not how 5g can help a boy in Africa with life saving surgery. People die in Africa from dirty water or poor nutrition so life saving surgery is nonsense.
The picture needs to be about how the market is building and about how Ethernity fits in. This is what's important to shareholders. So if Ethernity are fielding increasing demand they need to tell the market that. If Ethernity expect a substantial rise in revenue then they to tell the market that. If Ethernity are working on multiple development projects with partners and clients then they need to tell the market that.
If Ethernity are sitting in their office with nothing to do then they need to tell the market that.
This just needs to be a honest process. If people anticipate any improvement in revenue then the share price will respond to that. Currently they have a $6m 2021 expectation in the market. No update just a vague covid disruption and 50% increase in Tarana orders above expectation.
However that was December 2020 and the purpose was to trigger the warrants. So we know that they can do it.

Without this information how is the share price going to float.

The share price has to get from here to multiple pounds to fit into the new circumstances the business will be in next year. That can all happen very quickly or we can see a steady progression. Option 2 is by far the preferable outcome avoiding ugly spikes and crashes.
Steady progression requires a steady flow of information.

Reality is most need handholding. This company needs to hold hands if it wants a steady SP progression.

Bid he has 52k apparently but says he'll wait for news. Doesn't care if it costs more. I said that on strong news you won't be buying any but he is worried about liquidity and lack of interest generally.
It's always the problem when some look for safety in numbers.

Some interesting words here about the US market. This coincides with a real shift from China to the US for Ethernity.
Speaking with a contact yesterday 90% of current work is generated out of the US now. This time last year I thought that the start would be maybe 18 months away.
Clearly now Ethernity are very busy. I assume David is off to the US or possibly there already with several events scheduled on the west coast over the next two months.

If the management think it's OK to starve the market again until interims in September then they are seriously broken.
In September we'll here that H1 has managed a huge increase over H1 last year and about equal to revenue H2 2019.
I don't know why we are having to wait for these mandatory updates for information. Clearly the policy has failed miserably so far.

Ethernity is a share that takes plenty of imagination because the company don't provide enough information to the market.
Why would anyone bother with thousands of other investments available in the marketplace.
The Ethernity position and looming market are obvious when you look but this is a numbers game and Ethernity need some numbers.

Yes that's exactly right. That was my point about attracting the market they are in. Right now Ethernity are in the pit fighting for attention. Investors will come but when Ethernity are profit making and dividend paying. Ethernity need to get their head out of the sand and engage the market they have. That's a few long term holders and some gambling dreamers.
Ethernity like every company on the AIM are a few poor events from disaster. Last year is evidence of that when they drastically misjudged the fundraising.
In order to rise above the rest they need to focus on explaining why investors should be encouraged. David days he is encouraged but he needs to tell us why.

Yes agreed. What I can't see right now is where to look next. The DU is the obvious for contract and production agreement with a fpga vendor. That will be huge. UEP new device will be launched in the next few weeks. We already have been told that they expect immediate sales.
UPF orders for aceNIC 100 from China and SE Asia. Tarana further increase in orders. Avionics switch order (it's out there brewing). CU product launch. Or something we haven't seen yet or something I overlooked.....

I believe that Tarana has lined up 5 sizable deployments in H1 22 already. One is certainly starting sooner. The bottleneck of the residential units appears resolved now.
I think that we'll see a further upgrade in production orders in the next 4 weeks.
I can only assume Ethernity has this covered as they have never disclosed where and how they manufacture or their capacity to respond to mass orders. In fact we know nearly nothing from Ethernity. We do know from Tarana that Ethernity produced a switch that allows the functionality of their product. This is FPGA based. It would be good to know the margins on the sales but that's clearly asking Ethernity to provide enough information to base an investment decision on.

Ethernity are still the only solution vendor with a router on the NIC. Ethernity has by far the richest features on the device. In fact most DU solutions are not solutions at all but opportunities for someone to build a solution on their device. Soon I believe that Ethernity will also have this aspect covered.
Ethernity offer a complete DU hardware solution and will customise the software and features to the clients ecosystem. There are many variables like position and order of processes and security. Available size and power consumption and major factors and why Ethernity will I believe have the de facto standard.

Reviewing the many completed and proposed acquisitions some are just for particular aspects of the business or particular products.
I wonder how much aceNIC 100 is worth. It's the centre of most of the solutions.
Looking at the DU I believe that the aceNIC based DU solution will become the open de facto DU solution. I believe that Ethernity will manufacturer through a major FPGA manufacturer outsourcing.
Then Ethernity or in fact anyone can create a solution using this ASICs like product.
Still open forwards and backwards just with the code etched in the silicon.

Rakuten has 20+ CSP under contract for their network. This is Rakuten as Integrator and we could well see Ethernity products selected by some of the CSP.
Certainly on the menu will be many solutions providers.

The guidance from the company was all for 18-24 months ago. Remember when David said that the Fiberhome deal would make 10's millions. Yes probably now it would. However with the US listing Fiberhome as an untrusted vendor Ethernity has I suspect retreated quickly from that
Simply there have been many good reasons for a share price of a couple of pounds. Most of them heavily speculative.

"real value" that's a thing that simply doesn't exist.
You perceive an appropriate valuation but really it's a level at which you are comfortable selling.
I think that the market will value Ethernity high this year, how much I don't know. Certainly below £3 and I have no interest in letting any go.
"Real value" as a concept is not a static thing as every contract will push "real value" higher.
I think that the next 6-9 months will see the steepest line on the chart as this is the period of change. Nothing to something.
