Well once that happens the IR will be irrelevant. The IR is needed now to carry the share price into these events in a rising chart.
The opportunity is now, we'll actually 3 months ago. Delivering contract news onto a cold market will produce a mute response.
Ethernity should be flagging these events so to create interest.
Just using the contracts to do the talking will result in a share price always ******ed behind any valuation.
If Ethernity are working as they say with multiple Server Vendors on a product they believe will become the standard open DU product then they should be talking about that. Not to shareholders in a mandatory RNS nobody else reads but in a much more accessible way.
The interims, just Proactive actually read the thing and reported others headlined nonsense like a widening loss, completely irrelevant.

Skid simply there are not enough of them. I am talking about the majority. No point in arguing about it just look at the chart and the liquidity. It says everything you need to know. Ethernity will attract investors but the investment case needs to be much clearer.
I speak about the UK attitude with the advantage of not being there. When you are there you can't see how miserable and pessimistic everyone is .

Uhif you are fullfilling my point with that reply. How do you know that they achieve anything like what they would elsewhere. I see no evidence that the AIM delivers anything beyond an easy place to IPO and light regulation.
I don't think that Ethernity will ever achieve fair value on the AIM. They will go up from here and will make £5-10 in due course but by then it won't be a forward looking valuation just like today.

Another is that I won't expect too much so I am not disappointed. So negative.
So Ethernity need to sell with all these headwinds in mind.

I find the attitude that because something hasn't happened yet then it probably won't ever. This is exclusive to good things, if it's something bad it will definitely happen.

I don't think that David understands the market he is in when selling the Ethernity story to investors. Letting the contracts do the talking is not something you can do on the AIM.

James I have lots of links to the company but no links to crystal balls. Will they make $6m H2 quite possibly if a DU payment comes this year. Obviously they base guidance on what's known as they don't have crystal balls either. So before you say I am wrong let's wait and see what happens.
I see no reason why the company is valued the way it is and it could change any day. I see much more reason for the share price to be £1.60 than 40p.
I am not too positive the market is not positive enough. I put that down to the largely UK shareholding and the mentality prevailing in the UK. Everybody looking for what's wrong and cowering in fear of everything. It's a British thing not shared in Europe where people are much more positive and optimistic.

There's nothing wrong with Ethernity and the market should be valuing this looking forward but for some reason currently it's not doing that.

The bonded wireless solution and wireless backhaul, Tarana broadband G1 will be part of the satellite package from low earth orbit. Given the signal angle trees and other obstructions make guaranteed connection impossible. However LEO to a high point tower and G1 to fixed assets is the best current solution for LEO.
Wireless backhaul will be a way of networking DU to DU and DU to CU. Before Ethernity it would have been a back up but now it's a secure standalone option.

It will get press here simply because there are so few events at the moment. I suspect that was the reason for the early interim release.

Looking at our last two weeks they are dominated by a 15000 and 10000 seller. Without this the price would be higher on balance of trade. I hope these are 5g IF dripping into the market.

Background on why FPGA will become the primary method to munch code.

It will be interesting to see who's kit they fit.i think a lot of people read that as Mavenair supplying the whole network rather than integrating best in class at each stage. Of course it wouldn't be open if Mavenair supplied all the solutions.
The whole concept relies on equipment being interoperable and not locked in.
Hopefully they will be engaging a server vendor who has a DU solution under development with Ethernity. If they want higher performance at less cost then they'll go with Ethernity Networks.

When you dig behind the shortages there's not a huge problem with FPGA and we know that Ethernity can work with any FPGA not just Xilinx.
The biggest squeeze is the automotive chips and 4g sets as by far globally that's the biggest demand. FPGA for deployment is quite a small market because often they are used for prototyping and small run solutions like Ethernity pre 2021 business. Ethernity will use them on mass deployment but they will I suspect be ASICS like to reduce the adaption requirements. So a FPGA vendor will make the complete product just for that purpose. It will still be Open and still be adaptable further but will be purpose built rather than converted. This will reduce the production costs but will only work on mega orders.
It's very realistic to expect this scenario on the Ethernity DU product.
Orders for the DU will get the standard product and Ethernity will adapt the software to the ecosystem the Integrator designs.
I believe that sales will be massive starting Q4 with production orders. There are several 2022 deployments and it's very easy to assume that Ethernity will be providing the DU through server vendors. Private networks will be huge business and Integrators like Tieto will be knocking on Ethernity door now for best in class solutions.
As for Covid the whole thing is complete nonsense.

The Fiberhome connection and joint Vbras product I am sure is dead. We know that a Chinese OEM is using aceNIC 100 in its UPF solution. I don't know if that OEM is also a Telecom because I believe that one of the Chinese Telecom are using aceNIC 100 in their network but I don't know for what function.
China and the US can't be compared because they are doing things in a different order. China are 18 months ahead of the US for towers and subscribers. However they are using software only in their network and it's not going to survive scale.
The US are going for a full network rollout before building traffic.

Ethernity has built a ASICS like product that Ethernity believe will become the de facto open DU product. If this is the case they are exposed to hundreds of thousands of units starting in a few months.

Politically and with Ethernity commitment to India and US China is too hot to touch. They will supply cards for self build and through Tieto but nothing else.
In January David said that the legacy work creates useful income. However that income will always be small because it's one organisations solution whereas now they work with the solution providers delivering to thousands of clients globally.
We can take the dropping of the old work as a signal that now is the time for what the IPO was meant for.

The open market has evolved and Ethernity have stayed well ahead actually bringing solutions to meet the anticipated need. Largely the need is cost and performance. Time to market, size and power consumption and also factors. Ethernity has been ahead of the curve steering the market. Virtualization is now much more acceptable than 12 months ago.
Ethernity are going to take a large chunk of the potential open market.
