No not at all the "enhanced" start up was all there in the presentation for those who cared to look. I specifically asked about that in April and it was discussed at length. It was clear to me at the site that much more was being done than the base case and that was openly discussed. I guess some were not as diligent. A general lack of diligence has left some holding a paper loss. However Alberto has given those losers the chance to make their money back. There are many other investments that do not get that opportunity. At the point of raising money they have to disclose and they did. I wonder had they not disclosed whether the four would have paid more or less. I suspect they would have paid much less thinking that the required amount was $200m yet they were only raising $150m. Thinking that they were only paying for the 5 mtpa. What would that have done to the relationships there. Onions you need to get over this nonsense. The long term investors are behind because their timing was lousy and they were not diligent. The share price was chased down by some selling to buy in lower. Once the chart set the trend it was so obvious where it was going. Alberto has turned that around and Alberto will get the share price back over 10p. A little pain is required along the way.

Over subscribed is no surprise I am sure. Massive upside is unlocked by the finance. Production is weeks away now and the chart will only go one way once the brakes of the open offer are off.

That is ridiculous. How could they not disclose information. Why should new investors pay more than market value. Don't forget you are also buying at 4.75p and you could have bought as low as 3.25p. Your argument and dissatisfaction is nonsense. Why would we expect new money to invest without all the information.

I don't feel screwed over. The price is very good value for all. There is plenty of meat on the bone thanks to Albertos skill with the restart. More product less cost. A great result for all shareholders.

New photos on the website show leak testing as of 9 days ago and some of the last pipe and pump connections. I believe the dry side commissioning is complete and the wet side will be commencing within days. Production is really near term now and the addition of the first material could easily be the end of this month. Alberto will over deliver again on production and we will see the first concentrate well before his disclosed end of July. I still expect to have first commercial production early to mid July and a swift ramp up to 5mtpa and beyond to a 7.5mtpa throughput. The only real challenge now is the Copper price. The drilling campaign will take care of the grade control and should add to the average. 1% is the target and I suspect they will get much of the way. EMED are very close to a substantial cash return on investment. Shareholders will see capital appreciation and dividends.

Maybe they are doing both If physical copper is their thing and they are not one of the 3 that have the next 15 years production sewn up they have missed the Emed boat. They want the off takes to protect supply not the price. Actually buying copper in Europe is not that easy in quantity.

It's never that simple aI suspect. Clearly though copper is declining in the warehouses. I suspect consumers see higher prices ahead.

China is not the only player for copper The obsession with the copper - China is really a distraction to what is actually happening. Emed are weeks away from running the first rock and starting the ramp up to 7.5 mtpa throughput. Copper price and grade are key. Emed will be throwing off cash very soon.

stocks continue to fall, clearly demand is still high despite some negative press around Copper values. We need a improved Copper value to reach any part of the potential here. Copper values are the only bit of the jigsaw currently missing. 2.75$ lb should be our minimum expectation and 3$ lb will really bring home the bacon. Roll on drilling results and a resource update. I am hopeful of near surface grades towards 1%.

It is frustrating that he totally ignores the reason why the chart is being driven and why the pennant won't fail. I doubt if anyone is investing based on the chart; the restart of Rio Tinto and first production next month is driving this higher. Currently the funding has imposed a limbo that will break the share price up once we are through this fix. EMED is progressing rapidly in a transformation from cash burner to cash generator. The chart rising is just a product of that. Of course I do not have to tell you that, just thinking aloud.

Indeed it looks somewhat unlikely right now but that is the good thing with down; up is so much closer and has so much more impact. Clearly someone is using the stuff as the LME warehouses has declined 24000 tons over the last month and NYMEX is down 1000 tons. It will take very little to stabilise and turn the figures around and the demand from elsewhere is clearly still driving the demand.

Every oversupply story has one with the opposite view so I generally don't take that much notice. It will take one positive report from China to turn copper up steeply. The real story is in the developing world. Rio Tinto were bullish on copper two weeks ago and things change very slowly. In that time the stockpiles have shrunk so I am positive on the mid term. It's just a matter of time.

The low volume and tiny sells says it all. Waiting on the finance situation to resolve. Tiny sells against the 5%+ allowance of those wanting to take part but without cash to place. The share price will continue pegged until the 17th June. We can expect the share price to refloat beyond that. I doubt it will be long until we see double figures.

The open offer is capping the share price for the moment. If it moves up some sell against their 5% allowance which will likely be at least 10% and possibly much more. That will be the case until the 16th or so when the instructions and the cash have to be lodged. Looking just a short way forwards we have full wet commissioning, operational permitting and first production looming. I believe what we have seen already will be worth 7p a share in poor copper values. The difference between where we are now and where we will be soon is the matter to ponder. The brakes will be off soon but don't expect a steep chart as we will not see unsustainable leaps. A gentle re rate is what is required to carry weak many of whom have not seen breakeven for a long while.

I don't follow that they must know any more than we do. The buys were large in the context of the liquidity and the volume but I suspect it was a person of means taking stock. I have bought mine slowly over months but that is not the way some work.

I suspect you will get whatever you can fund within reason. The problem for some is that it cannot go into an Isa as they have used their allowance. I suspect the drilling results will be next month, as will the resource update if it is finished. First production will also come next month.

The amount open to private investors is a token and nothing more. That has come about from the desire to appear fair and the acceptance that private investors are unlikely to buy at 4.75p as those motivated to buy did so at much lower prices. Those participating will largely be to be part of the direct fund raising rather than to leverage a couple of %. I will take some but will not be selling any as that's counterproductive. The 4 largest investors, the same that are making this happen and hold at much higher prices did not buy at 3.25p like some did. Still some see that as robbery but I suggest the private investors will ride rather comfortably on the same wave the larger shareholders will just at much less cost. Copper price is by far the biggest challenge.

On iii if you do nothing then you get nothing. You either instruct to take your 1:20 or instruct to take the 1:20 plus apply for more up to a figure. That figure has to be fully funded in your account by midnight 16th. I can remember a similar event where the scale back was base upon what you asked for. I got something like 10 times the amount because I asked for a crazy figure.
