Who is AB? When they speak of production they mean commercial production. There is a huge difference between production and steady state commercial production. The ramp up will be two months even at rapid time. First production will be when they introduce the ore which will be any day now depending on the challenges raised by the wet commissioning. Assuming any technical challenges are overcome over the next week or two the first production RNS is very close. Obviously ramping that up will take a couple of months but there is no reason why the 5 mtpa first target cannot be achieved in the next couple of months. 4C were identified as the new European PR company a while ago and they are a great fit for the challenge of promoting the new name and lifting the share price. EMED is tainted by the failure of Harry Adams and a new name is needed that describes exactly what the company is about. There is loads going on and it will not take much to get this share price moving.

Excellent progress is depicted in the new photos on the website. As normal a week behind but it can clearly be seen the stockpiles are growing and the wet side is in operation. Production is the next stage. Emed are focused on delivering production ahead of schedule and under budget. They will achieve both. Not long to wait now.

Sounds right to me. The TSX price has been up and down and is really largely irrelevant as the volume is so tiny. We certainly can expect the share price here to rise with all that is happening now. Of course the current Copper price will cap things to 10p or so in the short term I suspect but there is plenty of value to be had as production starts now. After tomorrow we can expect things to happen very quickly.

When I pushed the company for an answer last week I was sent this reply. Obviously nothing we did not know. Unfortunately, like some of the target dates for permits, these are out of our control as the tasks are performed by others. "In addition, in the case of the reserves/resources, I am not sure if people are aware that, since we are also listed in Canada, we would have to file an updated 43101 report, that would include updated capital cost estimates for expansions, etc. Unlike other AIM listed companies we can’t just issue a press release with the new numbers, because within 45 days we have to file a full 43101 report. This is no small task".

Sorry to state the obvious but you say you have thinned your holding down and you hold at a loss. Then you ask why the share price is so low trying to suggest blame at the feet of the company. I suggest that the reason that the share price is down is because people like you have thinned their holding down. I have been buying at sub 4.75p and tending at towards 4.25p. Pointless bleating and moaning if you are part of the problem. You can't expect new money to come if the old money wets it's pants.

Sad to see copper so cheap just as Emed head into production.

Is poor because the copper price is very low and production starts in the next few days. All metal producers are suffering and sentiment is terrible. Add to that the poor regard towards AIM shares and the reasons are complete. Simply many cannot see the way forward. I am optimistic for copper and emed who will be a cheap producer with a guaranteed market to sell into. I can't see Emed above 10p in production without a copper recovery. 2.75 lb will be a good starting target but $3+ is where the reward is.

I exchanged several emails with the company today didn't come away with the feeling that the resource would be announced soon. Really answered with the obvious about the TSX rules.

You have an opinion I think it is nonsense. Simple as that.

I guess you could buy some more shares if you want to help the share price. I doubt very much if there will be a takeover as there is nothing much to gain by doing so. The production has been pre sold for that very reason. Any takeover would be at a derisory price but likelihood is that it will be more than double the current price. So arfer tell us what you would like us to do to try and prevent that. Arfer what exactly are you doing to prevent a takeover.

I suspect any adjustment would be to do with the delivery. Many projects ship concentrate 100 or thousands of miles to sell and that costs. Emed will be selling next door or worst case 75 kms away. This saving may form part of any consideration. The copper price is firmly holding the share price at the moment. Nothing more nothing less. If copper rises copper producers become more profitable and the share price goes up. We will be a copper producer very soon, likely this month.

Despite all the great efforts and results of the management and the huge value within the project the Copper price is keeping a firm cap on progress. The Copper price is the single most important factor here. EMED will not make money until they ramp up production to achieve scale but the profit margin is squeezed at todays prices. There is plenty of protection in the figures and EMED can produce and make money at $2 lb but we will not achieve 20p a share at $2 lb. 20p is my minimum expectation, EMED is worth much more in a high Copper price environment. The current value is unsustainable for many and will lead to tight supply with scrap and new production not entering the cycle.

May suffer further but Emed will not be one of them. I do agree with Alberto that ultimately Copper will be going up and Emed are superbly placed.

Bladders will empty as the long term losers breakeven but it will not stop the share price rising.

They were double figures just on the broken promises of the former regime but don't forget there we many fewer shares in issue at the time. I think it makes sense to be in the 8 or 9's right now and then a stronger copper price and a successful ramp up can do the rest. Clearly the writing is very much on the wall now for the success of the restart and we can expect company changing production news very soon. Also a factor is the drilling campaign and the resource update which is due any day. I suspect we will be wading through a thick news stream around AGM time.
