Share price continues to climb on low volume trade. I believe that the supply is very tight indeed and only forced sellers are likely now. I was looking at 50 as a barrier but looking at the chart I see nothing to mid 80's. Challenging recent highs is super positive.

I do agree that they really need to report on the current trading environment and maybe some guidance like last year. They stated before that converting interest to contracts was taking longer than hoped: really now is the time 12 months later for an update. Yes the SP was slaughtered and now the corner has turned. Progress is required to break 50p for sure.

I am thinking on what it means if we don't have a trading update. Nothing to oppose the view stated last year that 2018 was a challenging year with rewards reaped in 2019/20. Year end 31 December is likely to be reported in the spring or early summer. More contract news would be very welcome in fact any kind of confirmation update on the last guidance would be positively received I am sure.

It's based on the escalating noise about the virtual networks, FPGA and acceleration generally. I believe that the noise is as a result of the interest and some of that interest will be coming Etherntity's way.
5G and IoT is coming but server acceleration and virtualization of networks is actually here.

I think that Ethernity is about to attract some interest very soon. The story is exciting even if the share volume isn't

Great idea to start a monthly newsletter. January edition sent out today. A good round up of information links. Simple stuff but it puts Ethernity back in customers minds. Another indicator that interest is building.

It could certainly contribute towards mine as well but right now I don't see me selling any in 2019. I can see potential for a 30p to £3 rise this year if a update reports demand for the products. Cash balance at year end supported by modest H2 earnings should be sufficient as they have previously stated.
All down to timing now; the VHS betamax argument appears resolved with industry going FPGA as Ethernity expected.
So they are in the right market and reported by many to be leaders. Natural outcome is contracts; turnkey, firmware only or just security they all count. So far we have seen two firmware contracts but I suspect that acetic has been deployed in many servers already either in plan or in place.
Once the new becomes commonplace the new numbers will be huge.

Looking back to this time last year. The share price was 130p; the company were close to dropping a stink-bomb RNS delaying their plans for 1 year whilst the market caught up. Now here we are 1 year later and it must be said that everything they reported appears to have happened. The company have developed market leading products and the market has advanced into these products becoming the next step.
Early in 2018 David Levi said that the market is going mad for Ethernity products. That may have been going mad in slow motion but I believe right now demand is high for the solutions required by the pioneers. The broad market will arrive later in 2019 but the share price will continue to rise as Ethernity feature in more in contracts.
Short term there is an expectation following year end tomorrow that like last year Ethernity will issue a trading update. This update should confirm that like the share price the fortunes of the company have reversed. H2 figures should show a strong improvement on H1.

A nice Christmas message from Ethernity to those on their mailing list. Saying what a great year it had been and how far Ethernity have advanced their technology. Very true and now slowly slowly the industry adopts the new technology and inevitably some will engage the Ethernity solutions either partially or turnkey.
A great year indeed unless of course you were a shareholder this time last year. In that case it's been a disaster.
The trend has now reversed and that will continue again after new year. I believe that there is expectation of a strong trading update early 2019 that will report substantial interest in the products. The financial year end will be largely irrelevant but should show a stronger H2.
2019 is where the journey starts in my opinion and £3 by November is very much on.

There is no schedule and they only have a obligation to inform the market when they know of a material change from previous guidance.
At interms they gave some forward looking guidance but not much so really it's back to the 4th January 2018 when they stated that the developments within the market where about 12 months behind their timeline.
Early January they should be reviewing the financial performance after year end. That would be a excellent time update on H2 generally and the current trading environment.

I agree but I think once they have a few then lots will follow.
I believe that the Ethernity aceNIC and flow processor are the best available and the service from Ethernity with firmware and software is the most complete.

The takeaways from the presentation for me as a shareholder is the thought that residential routers will be replaced with processing capability and a smartNIC. Clearly this produces a market of 100's millions. Also the X86 server will require 6-8 smartNIC even given a large reduction in server requirements that 100'she millions more.
The will be many types a brands of NIC but even if just 1 in 100 are Ethernity the market is huge. Also remember that Ethernity will not necessarily make these and royalties can still be paid. Also the code from Ethernity can be sold for other brands which leave the user to acquire firmware.
Ethernity do the package including firmware and upgrades. Clearly we see here that they are still selling the concept at this level but higher up the food chain FPGA and smartNIC are already accepted.
Now the only part missing is why Ethernity?

Noise around the requirements has definitely been building over the last 3 months. Ethernity are central to much of it. I believe that contractshe and sales reports are near term now. The next trade update will show a huge increase in activity in the sector and specifically involving acceleration and security. I believe that large scale deployment of Ethernity products is inevitable.

You have to see the picture the mm's have to understand that. How many they have or need and pending trades.

It won't take many full price buys to push this share price.

I think that there is plenty to come. Right now I think expectation of a trading update early January will drive the price into the 40's. A positive trading note reversing the negative catalyst of last January can change things very quickly. Strong contract news would be great but I suspect that ACEnic sales will be lots of smallish sales.

Almost zero trades over the last few trading days. I guess the artificial spread put some off and others maybe waiting for news. The share looks comfortable here which after the recent rise is not a bad thing. I suspect that it won't take much to kick it off into another rise. The trend looks well established now.
