No doubt that the market for the smartNIC is massive it's just a matter of how much Ethernity can scope up. Until now it just represented a design cost. Now it starts to generate income. What would $10m do to the share price. Easy reach in the next few months I think.

Good to see the Ace Nic in the market place. Multiple applications and benefits. I can see the need for new hardware drying up as SmartNICs are deployed in numbers.
I am doing a lot of research coming up to speed and I see massive growth in this sector with Ethernity holding the best in class solutions.

The two 20k sells look like a bed and ISA. Makes sense holding this in a Isa as for sure it will make substantial profit from here. Crazy cheap

I am guessing that we have one volume seller fuelling the market steadily. Nothing to back that up but timing and round numbers.
Any spark of positive news and this will run.

Yes tough to buy any at all. I guess that they are struggling to balance the market given all the buying over the last few weeks. Low volume every day but adding up now.

Yes it does. I think that the supply has all but vanished now. A few days on the share risers list won't hurt at all.
I know that the company are very busy and as stated before I expect an announcement about Smartnic sales and some contract work soon.
Certainly interest us very high and the dawn expected last January will arrive a year later.

Brokers are OK for no change type of scenarios but this is all change so a broker will be the last to signal.
I am not surprised that the SmartNIC is attracting attention and sales. I expect the deployments to be in the millions over the next few years. Best bit is that there is no reason for Ethernity to producing any they will just license production for a royalty and produce the firm and software to enable for a chunky payment.

I see no reason why not if they attract a volume of sales. You have to remember that margins are near 100% profit so it takes very little to push into serious profits. No prospect of any more shares being issued.
If your argument depends on the thoughts of a broker then surely experience tells you that they know nothing.
Ethernity do not know the extent of the demand so how can a broker.
I am looking at the contracts one and the potential for similar and remember that these two contracts are not even for Ethernity products just the firmware. Smart NIC just launched and a unique new product in March 19. Ethernity are in a super position and even 1% of the market they will be earning 20m a year profit.
I still see £20 as my long term target made up of dividends and share price. The management own millions of shares and will be wanting to reward themselves without selling a share.
Let's wait and see but if it goes from 154-20p in one year why not 20-300p.

1p a day rise will do me £3 this time next year is where I expect this to be.

I am torn really on if I want to see this go up yet. £1.54 this time last year. Really they have hit their goals since with the development of the new "unique" products and bringing them to market.
The recent proactive slides really do make the argument when you look at the industry anticipated size of the market. Ethernity hold the key to unlock that technology at a massively reduced cost.
I have bought more yesterday but I don't have enough.
I can see dividends and a serious price increase looming.

We should get something of a trading update after or close to year end 31 December.
Hopefully the delayed payments last year are now completed and the variation on the old contract is paying royalties. Hopefully the 2 new contracts are paid in this half and they can report a flow of work building. We should be getting some information about the sales of the long awaited Smartnic and forward sales to product due for release March 19 but available for inclusion in new technology now.
Certainly we need to hear that the year delay that caused the share price to drop 80% is now over and the rest of the industry is advancing towards the Ethernity solutions.
Until then we wait.

Yes a couple of small buys aren't going to get far soon but we have to start somewhere. A couple of meaningful investors accumulating at the same time and some volume can be added.
I believe that we are at a pivotal point now and if the next move is up we attract some attention.

I wonder at if those 3 trades were the roadblock holding the share price back. Some visible liquidity certainly helps but the balance is very heavily weighted on the buy side. That said certainly for small trades I have been able to buy online with an instant quote no problem. Maybe that suggests a queue of 25/50k sells are waiting.
Clearly with no liquidity and just a trickle of disorganised sellers the SP was somewhat hemmed in.
Liquidity is a two edged sword but takes extraordinary news to send the price up.
With some liquidity in a orderly market the share price will refloat.

Now we have a market with sells and buys.

When volumes are so low even a few thousand can make a difference. It's the buys against sells that count not the volume and today the percentages are huge.

Bid is actually up 1.3p. Can't be many shares going spare

I wonder if January holds any significance.
Smartnic will be essential kit and really it is already. Although the Smartnic is a standalone product I think it very likely that Ethernity will be integrating as part of an overall solution.
I love the DPI acronym Deep Packet Inspection, sounds quite wrong.

I bought a few more at 22.4p.Will wait and see on what happens now. Keeping powder dry if it drops back to 20p. In the meantime I am expecting something from the Smartnic recently launched for a deal involving supply and mass production.
Researching Smartnic they are in very common use but they are not all equal. Specs on the lastest addition to the Ethernity range looks industry leading. No reason why they won't be adding to the current half million installations.

Couple of million extra shares. I wonder where they came from. The date is the same as their last notification so possibly it didn't update when they reused the submission form. However the company can't just blindly post without checking.
