Ha you bet me to that bit. Evaluation placed appropriately as it surely is will be a trial by potential customers. I think that we are rapidly approaching the time when there will be very large demand for these products. They are still the next step in all but a few places where they lead. Certainly not the US who are again well behind Asia.
Given the US issues with China Ethernity are well placed being in Israel and the US.

MMs took 5000 well above the bid at 38.11. No point in trying to trade or leverage any holding with the rising trend further increases are inevitable. Either profit taking or a forced seller. I suspect in the 80's we will see some itchy fingers. Way too early to leave this party, the guests are just arriving.

I guess that is why the response in the share price has been minimal. I don't think that Ethernity could make any guesses better than anyone else. It's a totally fresh market with a new solution that makes many existing servers potentially obsolete. Many of the household names had a bumper 2018 with record data centre installations. However potentially 60% of servers may now not be required. I wonder if data centre's will use the nics. Certainly they pay a huge amount to cool and power massive server environments. Adding extra space is expensive so why not retrofit each server.

I don't think that anyone could say to be honest. They can't make projections like that. Major OEM in the world's leading marketplace potential global reach.
Any projection will change as others adopt similar products also using ethernity nics. I think it's millions rather than thousands and the global is billions.

This week I expect consolidation in the low 40's unless we get some news. I don't think that 50p will form any sort of barrier and the trend is well established. I think that we may get volume selling in the 80's which will be late March. At that point news will be required to drive through. IPO price of 130 will be our Summer fun. I anticipate another firmware contract near term and further use of the aceNIC by OEMs and solution providers. We may land a big one but I think that it will be largely white box and the white box share of the market will out sell the majors in 2019.

It was from 2.11pm when buying was somewhere between 39-41. These are just the kind of events that the share price needs to be able to rise. No problem absorbing the shares and it is clear that over the last few months more than 500k shares have been bought over sold. The market is very tight but measured steps up can be taken only if shares are available.
Another good week and the rising trend looks very firm and sustainable. Even modest news will be enough to get back to the float price.

I was expecting to see 40p this week. I think that there is a chance still later today.

Ethernity really need to engage more investors. We have seen a substantial improvement on many fronts but now is the time to put the investment case to potential shareholders.
This is a industry where every deal is shrouded in commercial secrecy and advantage so very little detail is RNSd. In addition as Ethernity are providing to others launching new products there really is not much to pin any return estimate on.
I do think however they can discuss the scale of the opportunity and the market position of Ethernity. They can also tell us about the unique aspects of the products and explain why they are in the path of the next steps.

I am very positive about the last piece of news, much more so than a couple of firmware or software contracts as the clients have reach into the market and understand what their customers want. The idea that Ethernity can sell through multiple OEMs globally at 100% margins hands off means investment in manufacturing capacity is zero, marketing zero and design and implementation zero. Therefore there is no real prospect of dilution or unexpected costs.

Yes lots more noise generally. Direct emails, messenger ads and industry events. Security appliance??? Odd choice of word.

Korea is the undisputed leader of edge deployment and they are just a couple of months from live 5G.
This contract is a clear indication that Ethernity are the market leaders for FPGA smartnic. The edge is the next big step and we are talking millions of servers either manufactured or retro fitted with smartnic technology.
I think that income from this area of business will build rapidly this year as the vendors mass produce, sell and install units. We need clarity on the structure for payment typically but I doubt that we will get that until the aceNIC 100 has achieved some more production contracts.
I suspect that mass production is very near term in the Korean deal as these servers equipped for the virtualized edge are needed now.
The deal is a game changer for Ethernity and whilst the firmware/software business of the previous two contracts was nice cash it's going to be very small compared to these hands off sales.

I doubt we will see a large quoted contract as the target are OEMs. They make and sell servers. The big payday is in recurring royalties at zero cost to Ethernity. The gift that goes on giving every year. That's where dividends will come from.

Noise in a very secretive environment has certainly increased.

I believe that we need to know more about the news just released. Interesting on the website the headline is "acenic 100 empowers the Korean virtualized edge" This is Korea the Country with the fastest most developed internet in the world. Korea are at the front leading the next generation. Not China who still concentrate on unit cost. So if Korea is using Ethernity acenic to reduce server numbers, power consumption and space then it seems logical that many others will follow.
We have to assume that the OEM is white box as much Korean technology is. The multi-billion server manufactures like Dell, HPE and Cisco had a bumper 2018 but with acenic 4 servers do the work of 10. Those giant global manufacturers of X86 may find that oversupply is the next issue as function is removed from the data center to the edge.
I see many more deals similar over the next few years.
I stick with my £3 share prediction for November 2019.

Was the 35000 trade just catching up from the previous buys. I guess you could argue that point forever. Clearly there are many sells not reported over the last 3 months.
