Researching the potential market for the FPGA based smartnic and I soon realise that it's absolutely huge. Without the acenic ethernity firmware and software edge virtualisation simple doesn't work. Cost and space saving is about 60%.
There are other smartnic developers but geographically and politically they are not so well placed. Ethernity can sell to East and West. The product is industry leading in performance and much of the development is patented.

I see several scenarios as likely but now the industry bypassing Ethernity is well off the table. This is investment will be huge.

I expect the share price through 40p next week. I don't think that it will take much to achieve. Just need a couple of investors to see the huge achievement in the delivery of the NIC to a major OEM. Mass production and sales are near term now.

It's a big problem unpicking years of integration. May be the answer to create the security before the core is reached. This is exactly where Ethernity are.

Much like the recent news it's a manufacturer selling their product with our product inside. I guess that they can't tell how many they will sell and when. They are early to the party and it's going to be next year that the broad demand really starts. I believe that the main hurdles are cleared once the major oems have adopted the patented technology. They will sell as the demand is realised. Barcelona end of February promises to be busy.

I see that Lanner inc of Taiwan are using Google Ethernity aceNIC in their servers. They are also in Canada USA and Israel.

Despite the fact that they don't release much and there is a huge amount of commercial secrecy there is information to be pieced together. I believe that the company need to explain the model better to engage smaller private investors. Even modest buying will take the share price back to the low 80's of last January.

Revenue for Ethernity will come from sales of the equipment manufacturers servers. The servers are fitted with up to 8 aceNIC each and running Ethernity firmware and software. As reported today they have delivered the product. That won't be that they have delivered a box with a aceNIC in but they have delivered the specs and means for the OEM to produce under license. Revenue will follow as the new servers are sold.
This mass production was expected in 2020 so a big leap forward.
There may be a design fee but that information will be industry sensitive as Ethernity will be doing many more deals like these. The server market is worth billions and before long each could contain multiple nics.

I can only assume that the previous guidance of mass production 2020 has now been advanced to 2019. I see that this is the full package, embedding Ethernity's rich networking features including hierarchical QoS, flow classification, protocol offloading, and routing.

This is highly significant news; the aceNIC100 can be deployed everywhere even in existing Data Centres where space and power are the major costs. Large arrays have thousands or hundreds of thousands of servers grouped in one space using power required for a small city. In addition we will see very soon edge data rooms with maybe 4 servers dealing with edge data in a tower block, hospital,office or village. A Town may have 20 such locations very soon each requiring up to 32 aceNICs. Globally billions certainly millions in very quick time even on trial installations.
cots is how it is happening and this is exactly where Ethernity are. I believe that they called the future 100% correctly and the future is arriving now.

The delivery is not physical as the OEM will be the manufacturer of the aceNIC under license. This is the delivery as a component for manufacture. The size of the deal depends on how many servers the customer manufacturers and installs. Certainly it will be in the millions quite quickly given up to 8 NICs per server. I believe that current power hungry servers may well get retro fitted or replaced especially if space is an issue. 10 servers can be replaced with 3 or 4 of the same type.
This was the deal announced in the interims and it could be huge as others see the commercial advantage.
I also like the few lines at the bottom telling us that there is much more to come.

It may appear to be down but actually it's just the same as before 35/39. This site is reporting as mid 36 which is clearly wrong. The trade was designated UT uncrossing trade and can be ignored.
When volume is so low it's difficult to see what is going on. Right now the market makers have a few shares, the spread is wide at 35/39 but actual quotes are 35.5/38 on ii for small trades.
We have seen the share price eroded on small trades when we were in the falling phase which is classic of poor sentiment and confidence. Now we are in a rising phase we should see confidence return.

I see Ethernity are getting some PR and promotion going now. A newsletter and direct approaches for appointment scheduled at MWC in a few weeks. Much more information going out now the aceNIC is released and a new generation of FPGA flow processor being available from March.
There are massive opportunities right now for substantial sales of both. Ethernity see 2019 as the contract window for mass production (by clients) in 2020. This year we can expect substantial licensing payments in my opinion.
As equipment manufacturers and white box producers will be trying to nail geographic exclusivity deals over the technology. I believe that there will be substantial interest in acquiring the whole company especially when the share price is so low.

Not directly I suspect but it increases focus on security and ownership both Ethernity features.
I am surprised that we have not had some guidance from the company on current performance. They could be waiting for a event to complete but last year it was worthy of a standalone announcement.
Given the lack of comment the conclusion must be that all is back on track.

They have been promoting the MWC on the website as well. I was watching the appalling video from Berlin again. David talks of massive royalties from the October announcement.

3 month chart looks super. Exceeded the previous high after a period of consolidation. Driven by bargain hunting and expectation of a substantial increase in sales and revenue.
The next 12 months will be very interesting

Generated 2 5000 sells today but on low volume again the weight is on the buy side. I do wonder where the balance is in the market as the clear buys are 3:1 on sells over the last few months.
This rally has a very long way to go.
