I sent the following to my MP earlier this week. Today she has said that she has forwarded it to the Health Minister (whoever that is) and asked for a response. I won’t hold my breath!!!!!

So surely now we can expedite approval for Affidx and stop spending billions on inferior Chinese tests?

Or does the fact that some key players at Porton Down receive massive funding for their own research projects from the Hue Foundation in China have anything to do with which tests get approved?

i was initially surprised but actually, this RNs makes bugger all difference (hence the static SP. Whats changed? the odds were always that our LFT would detect it, and it has been confirmed, in that sense its not big news? (It would have been much bigger news if it hadn't!)

I sort of see what you mean, but the same could be said for HUA in which case we’re fecked.

It beggars belief that such important news has resulted in so little upward movement of SP. Perhaps everyone that wants to buy Avacta shares has already bought them?

Having worked as a programme/project manager for the major consultancies and big business internationally. IMO Avacta should have had someone on the case 24/7 it is unacceptable that they cannot push this along faster. Even if they had to camp out on people’s doorsteps.
Unless of course all their effort is concentrated on AVA6000 et al. In which case I would be happy to see some excellent progress on that side.

Not sure that this is good news or bad. I’m inferring that priority is being given to 3 tests that have passed PD and we really don’t want that

Excellent but how can this be brought to the attention of those that can do something about it?

Thank you for your advice concerning the balance of my portfolio. I am overweight in Avacta but thankfully the rest of my investments are in high dividend earning stocks and battery minerals providers. Avacta is a bit of a punt for me but it does have a superb long term future so is worth the risk.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to me.
I don’t disagree with what you have said. I made it clear that I don’t expect a dividend until at least 2023. That isn’t belittling Avacta. As you point out it’s an expected position for a company at this stage in its ‘life’. I do expect a good rise in SP next year as the therapeutics side gains traction. I take issue with baseless assertions that the SP will be £5 any day now as soon as CTDA or HUA or whatever is RNSed.
