Ray I agree with your suggestion that there could be an "inevitable spread from all connected to the Scope trial. This includes patients and their friends and relatives, hospital staff and anyone else connected to the trial".

I'd call it a 'buzz' but it's not 'insider trading'.

Another factor might be previous holders deciding the timing is right to return or hold a little more.

Violin - 'insider dealing' is a serious offence so IMO it's not good to suggest it's going on. As I suggested, a little rise is nice but 'bigger all' in the scale of things.

Good post RW. Scancell will be busy networking after all those Conferences recently but maybe Moonparty is right - it could be something more. The AGM is just 10 days away so we can look forward to an update then, if not before. GLA

I have noticed the SP 'plight of' and who wouldn't ?

There's a difference between being positive, optimistic and ramping. I try to stay in the first of those but I wonder what triggered your comment on 'optimism'. I'm just looking at it - there's been a lot of networking recently and that requires time consuming work and responses. First things first . . . .

To directly answer the header and IMO, yes undoubtedly - its there for all to see. Scancell IS getting it's act together.

Jambo you ask some very fair questions and whilst remembering that it was BDO's difficulties that caused the delays, Scancell themselves should have closed all the loops neatly. Ideally.

I'm pondering that despite reinforcements, Scancell remains a small team in this game and maybe, the recent high networking activity has caused a follow up workload that is slowing up other stuff. It's disappointing for LTH but of course the AGM is imminent now.

Wise heads here sometimes suggest that the day to day travails of the SP are best ignored ( as we know what we have), but it's a pain to put up with the mischief that appears when the SP drops.

Hopefully we'll get more news before the AGM to cheer us up and at least, some more clarity over the points raised by Burble on Nov 10th about the recent Posters i.e. "interpretation, data inputting and plotting introduces a chance of human error. Especially if you are going back and re-measuring lesion reduction or somebody else within the team is revisiting data".

Burble thanks for your analysis and it will be very interesting to have these anomalies explained/reconciled.

For me it's almost beyond belief that such precious and critical data from the Company could be other than 100% correct BUT you never know.

Undeniably, today's RNS adds to what might be suggested about Scancell upgrading it's networking . . . .

Since AACR in April it's now ICIC Sep 20-23, WVC(E) Oct 19, SITC Nov 1-5, Nov 9th SMR, PEGS Nov14th. For me that's a veritable stream of promising activity . . . .

I'll resist the temptation to conclude there are hopeful 'discussions' underway, (if discussions are needed they can be held anytime), but it's my impression that a LOT more disseminating of data and networking IS going on. So well done to Scancell.

And well done to Prof. Lindy who is doing well as CEO IMO. So PEGS is coming up with our 'Principal Scientist' in action AND we have our new BDO to bang the Scancell drums. GLA

Violin I profoundly disagree with - "Good posts this evening. It does look like it's another extended wait . . . . "

C11's earlier post 11.03 one of the few worth reading here today and Bojo 15.21 was spot on here - "What do you want? Blood!?!? . . . . Finally, I am sure that the pharma world understands exactly what Scancell are doing and when the time is right, more deals will get done."

Other Posters seem to quietly lay the ground for more polishing of every Scancell peanut with fevered impatience shining through. I'm afraid for me it's been a tiresome read atm but GLA.
