C11 - I totally get your 08.01 because regarding the issues Crumbs was 'excited' about that day, the Company and our brilliant CEO already had the necessary measures for improvement, well in hand. As I think we can see now.

Crumbs is one of our best Posters IMH and btw I've made a similar comment to the venerable myself, but, broadly, that day, Crumbs was in my opinion, over- reactive.

I hope he is still around and well invested !

I agree Burble - the presentations and communication has been sharpened up in just a few weeks since the arrival of Dr Mandeep, our new Head of Business Development. Its very encouraging and the Company is starting to look quite different - now for the SP to do the same !!

I note that last years results were not until Oct 28th so the Finance Dept seems to have sharpened up too.

And again, well done to our CEO and the BoD for shaping these changes.

Johnny thanks for your 17.41 - fascinating. It seems Texas BioMed are working with Covidity and it's a game of 'wait and see' for now. I wonder if/when Scancell will have something to say about it.

Clare my experiences haven't left me with 'that view' about MMR (or vaccines generally) but I understand the concerns. Broadly on MMR I agree with you. I understand that measles is a dreadful problem.

Many other vaccines do an amazing job and I am very grateful we have them.

Thanks for the link in 09.39 (BMJ) - I read it at length and there is a great deal in there - not just the comments from Tom Frieden which sort of confirm your own apparent feelings.

Re. the covid vaccines, just MO but I think there was an extremely good case for them at the beginning of the pandemic, given the severity of the initial variants but as the severity has waned (generally) and the vaccines become less targeted at them - I wonder if the case still stands the same.

The way that Pfizer and Moderna have increased the prices of the vaccines suggest that money making is all it's about now.

Clare - in contrast to your faith, I worked as a volunteer in St Blazey, Cornwall at weekends for a year or two, (many years ago), with kids damaged for whatever reason, but some squarely attributed to the MMR vaccine.

That doesn't make me pro or anti-vax but I'm glad your experience was good.

IMO vaccines can be great or not, we have to decide. As you say, "Those of us who are not scientists have to place our trust in someone." But is that Pfizer or Moderna ?

As for your list of 'worthy bodies' whose advice might rule - well I'm just not sure about that to be frank.

In short - five higher doses in one week proving effective . . . seems to me to be a really exciting improvement.

Ivy and Ray - it seems to me that the 'huge conspiracy' is on the other 'side', i.e. that we should continue to take the mRNA covid vaccines (at vastly increased costs) despite all evidence of the damage being caused.

Ivy you say "Agree there may be evidence of some of these Covid Vax causing serious side effects" so that's clear enough, but in reality are we not down to mainly 'Pfizer' and Moderna MMR vaccines now rather than 'some' of "all Covid Vax" being to blame.

Dalgliesh writes of 'several elements' in his concerns about reports of cancer development but I take your point that Dalgliesh seems 'off target' there.

Thanks Kashdog - yes I got that link today and for me, no surprise. A 'Committee' of that size has NO hope of making any sense at all IMHO. Particularly financed as they are. Would've been great if they'd sniffed 'Covidity' progress.

If he can't achieve a move away from mRNA obsession where does this go ? Myself I doubt the mRNA concept more than a little with all these comments from different 'sources' floating around.

I note you relate this to AvidiMab - but maybe Covidity too. It's all beyond my grade but EE has put forward some interesting propositions today about possible interest in mRNA alternatives . . . .

Hi Dracula - I think your comment is rather downbeat, (but I appreciate the point). Fact is that any number of Visitors to CICON might have been impressed with the 3 Posters, perhaps considerably, but they will be thinking it through, discussing it with colleagues and maybe the powers that be, in the weeks to come.

Scancell are much further along than they were 3 years ago and we would could hardly have expected cheque books to be waving during the meet. Time will tell.
