Cleaner/WTP/Drac - thanks for those cheering thoughts for the weekend. It's fair to suggest the possibility of wider Genmab interest, after all, their toe is already in the water.

That's not to forget Merck, BMS, Pfizer, Moderna and others. Though I have long expected BioNTech to 'frontrun' with interest in Scancell because of their longstanding familiarity, I wonder if their thrust into science is stuck in their own no doubt brilliant tunnel.

We'll see. But if data from Immunobody and Moditope platforms continues to be strong, Scancell are sure to be 'hot property' in due course, as the case against personalised vaccines goes under the spotlight.

I won't be selling more than a few for 50 pence, that's for sure.

Sath appointed on 29/8 has now as expected, been made a Director. At the AGM etc. I thought Sath showed composure and charm and I feel Scancell are in very good hands, on this front too.

In fact, the whole Scancell team is looking as good as it needs to be.

'My' Chantaburi on the East of the Gulf is normally prosperous with gemstones, durian and fishing but hasn't recovered from the pandemic - it's the poor that feel it. Laem Sing on the coast nearby is still very quiet except at weekends.

The far south Andaman island, Ko Lipe is lovely - my Missis is there atm with a couple of Friends, catching the sleeper train back tonight. I took the chance to catch up with old Friends in Korat, which is also very quiet (expat wise).

EE - I'd guess PNP would generally be a quiet place particularly midweek but a little busier with Thai visitors Sat/Sun. Years ago we ate at a first floor Restaurant by the harbourside.

Yes a change since Covid as some seem to have lost the habit of going out and many places are quiet or closed down. Outside hotspots the economy is probably reduced.

If you can, spend some time in Hua Hin up the road, which by repute is pleasant and more lively.

Matt, I don't agree Scancell is "very vulnerable" - IMO there's no way that Scancell will be 'going for a song' - Redmile and Vulpes have shown solid faith here for years now.

Re. Conferences - Scancell's strengthened team are spreading their wings and that's great. IMO It's all coming together . . . .

Regarding Violin's, "funded till 25 we heard etc etc then a massive dilution just days after." IMO that shouldn't be presented as some sort of 'let down' because the Company can't give advance notice of fund raises. Whilst the dilution is always a blow, Scancell are much better placed now that it's done.

I'm sure Scancell's expanded team are working flat out to produce more data and sowing the seeds for deals. The SP is frankly, silly, but IMO we can look forward to much better if the '27' data does confirm the '13' data, for presentation at AACR. GLA

Cleaner - on ADVFN (LF), Bermuda added the following perspective :-

"Whilst it will be great to get further updates on the 13 patients from the first stage of the trial, it's the results from the expanded second stage in a further 27 patients that are going to be so important to Scancell. Scancell have told us that the study should be fully recruited in Q1 and let's hope the AACR poster includes results from those patients too. It will be very disappointing if all they publish is more mature data from the original 13 as potential partners will want and need to see data in larger patient numbers."

Of course, all things are possible, but I really think that your relentless and intermittent concerns about a quick low 'Buy Out' are very much exaggerated.

After a lifetime of her enormous effort at the cutting edge, do you really think that Prof. Lindy and her science will be sold (or stolen), as if, 'going for a song'?IMHO absolutely NO WAY AT ALL! So I think you can relax a little more on this one. I'm surprised that a few positive feeling vibes can trigger this debate again.

Someone commented that an early 'Buy Out' might be at £1 - many like me, getting older, might happily settle for that, but I doubt the BoD would. And I think CEO wants to take her project a lot further.

Not to worry - as we once had 60p+ in 2012, your personal target is quite possible this year.

If Prof. Lindy has anything new to report, we should get an RNS this morning.

Redmile's option to convert - am I right in thinking for the 0% CLNs that occurs at 12/8/2025 and for the 3% CLN's the 10.11.2025 ?

That's about 18 months and 21 months in the future, by which time, I hope that matters Scancell will be very different. However, interesting times ahead in many ways!

EE thanks - as we are now, "at least 6x the current share price" as "a modest deal ticket price" is curiously comforting.

I'm guessing we can hope for movement in that direction in 2024
