Bermuda I'd guess that Redmile could have had a Non-Exec at any point but extending the loan notes was their trigger to act. So maybe not 'conditional' - they would not have been refused at any point.

IMO Redmile have been in a position to put in a Non-Exec any time at all, a time of their choosing in fact, but they have seen reason to do so now? For me, the portents of that are encouraging . . . . . .

Chester I'm finding your posts really helpful these days and your mention that Dr Reinaud is a Director of Redmile itself is a highlight for me. Good to have Dr Reinaud at Board Meetings and accessible on the phone. As C7 points out, he's Non-Exec at Scancell, but even so, it draws him in closer and shows that Redmile hold Scancell in good standing - (I've always been surprised that Redmile didn't have anyone on our BoD from the start).

As to the timing, maybe it's just a bit of tidying up possibly prompted by the CFO creating a structure. Whatever, it's great for Scancell though it may or may not mean that matters are hotting up a little deal-wise. Of course, if matters are hotting up, (fingers crossed), Dr Reinaud would be ready to join the team for help and advice.

We'll see won't we. As I'm 77 today, I hope they get a move on ATB

Ripley at 4.15 we haven't nudged up let alone made 11p, so that was a waste of time. A bit of chat has always been accepted here, it's the mischief that's the pain.

Ciaskin and Violin, yes the Govt seems to be besotted with Moderna but I suggest that's as a result of the perceived success of their covid vaccine rather than being due to favouritism because of past connections to Sunak. Of course a dose of cynicism is helpful but atm cynicism seems to cloud most comment which is unhealthy in itself.

Ray I didn't say Scinv did, 'educate we fools'. But some of the ensuing replies to him were useful.

This is not an, 'I told you so', but IMO Scinv was obviously trouble from the start. So I filtered him and left it there, (and others better to handle it).

On the positive side, the BB was very quiet at the time. Scinv curiously enlivened debate but clearly had no real arguments and lost convincingly.

And looking back a little, thanks Johnny - Scancell are making good progress with SC134 and this statement on Modi2 - "with the aim of initiating a Phase 1 clinical study in cancer patients in 2024". Now in reality that may not happen quite on cue but it's a very exciting prospect ! ATB

If the Immunobody data comes through well, (and Team Scancell sound confident), I'll stick my neck out and say that platform alone should fetch £3 billion upwards - I won't be debating that figure, it's just my own view.

I stand by 'matters moving apace' - Team Scancell are now much stronger, have been doing far more presentations than ever and data from the 3 trials should coming soon. I think it likely that the 'Anon' Company is not Genmab, thus a second avenue of interest in Glymabs is great news.

On the matter of a potential dilution, all things are possible of course - the hope of non-dilutive funds arriving should not be ruled out and hopefully the SP be taken to a different level when data arrives. ATB

I thought Prof. Lindy did very well. relaxed, confident, strong and assured.

As for the RNS that was great news and as we don't know the precise details of the Genmab and Anon deals, I see no reason to be downbeat about the terms of the Anon deal or the chances of Scancell getting further progress on this front.

AvidiMab and Glycans are lovely sideshows to the SCOPE and MODIFY trials - it's great to have these extra strings to the bow. I tend to agree with the optimism of GF, ICB and Dragon. Matters Scancell are proceeding apace these days.
