Novartis' CAR-T featured on R4 'Today' today - apparently, the NHS approved the treatment for these children/ youngsters, just 10 days after the EMA approval. Just 30 Patients p.a. atm.

As for the news we crave - 'she'll be coming round the mountain when she comes'.

Dragon - thanks for the link. Minds in the NHS seem open to new directions and they can act with some speed. Good. I guess Novartis will benefit from the publicity that results as the 30 children a year are treated.

RH - I don't understand why Scancell would not release the news of IND progress whether it is strictly required or not - it IS of interest ! C7 I am beginning to agree with you that Scancell could loosen up a bit or at least try harder with communications !

CH is not specific in his wording. 'Near to short' is a confusing way to frame a time issue - which comes first ? Simultaneously . . . ? To be fair to CH, he'd been on board for just a few weeks at that time.

The following day at Calculus, CH is talking about 'near to medium' being 1-2 years.
