Scancell have so much science to be cultivated now with Immunobody and Combo, Modi 1,2,3, TCR, Glycans and liaisons with CRUK, Karolinska, BioNTech and the Grand Challenge submission - it is a colossal workload. The sooner that 'something' is grafted elsewhere commercially the better and IMHO this has long been the case - progress is inevitably slowed as Scancell has limited (but wonderful) resources.

I think Prof. Lindy must be a very calm and collected person to be able to preside over and advance this juggernaut with all it's aspects. I imagine Prof. Lindy is also called on frequently to support JC and CH on the science front.

Bermuda I enjoyed your post - right to point out that we have an Executive Chairman and CEO so there is no reason that we cannot have regular updates. Hardman has not fulfilled this function as they only reflect what the BoD have told us too ?

So CH, we are interested as we have a right to be. Some updates please.

I've seen questions asked elsewhere about what is being achieved by our USA Office (and Officer) - given all that expense. Of course no one knows because there may be much going on behind the scenes ?

Good try C7. Of course, the host is right not to disclose such details to 3rd Parties, that being Scancell's privilege, but it seems to be part of a wider shutdown of snippets, twitter, a 'lack of updates' and more.

R Hatton on the other side reports again re. the SCIB1 Combo trial, Scancell confirmed to him, ''No RNS for submission or approval, once submitted and no queries in 30 days its live, then the main RNS will be trial commencement'' and Bermuda asks why the ''lack of updates this time round?'' Good point indeed.

Maybe this means that some important commercial stuff is afoot or maybe, JC sees a need to tighten up on this front.

Coming back to the AGM - Oxford Utd FC again makes sense - the venue is ideal ? Reading comments of some strident characters elsewhere, it seems there might be some aggressive questioning about adherence to timescales and other matters. Hopefully there will be news at hand before then to calm some of that down.

As for today's 'nit' we've been picking - 'Phacillitate'. One poster posted it in July and ''Sep11/12'' had remained in my head, (somewhere). Not remembering who originated the post, I searched 19 pages of C7 to bring it to the BB's attention. I think that was a worthwhile effort.

Hi. I had another look through the Sponsors and Exhibitors at 'Phacillitate' and none of the major Pharma players seem to be there. Just noticed BioNTech and Oxford BioMedica - but no doubt you'd recognise more than I.

So 'Phacillitate' isn't a major event IMO. I may be right or wrong. It's OK.

With respect, my post is not insulting at all - I did not imply Prof. Lindy would not have merited a position as a 'Chair' in her own right - more - I would think her status is far in excess of this particular event.

I was merely pointing out that the opportunity for some face to face updates with BioNTech might have swung the balance of whether it was worth her attending at all. Otherwise, an Intro, a 15 minute case study and some discussions at 'less than a 'World Status' event', total 1 hour 30 minutes including 2 other speakers,might not have been worth the trip.

My earlier comment does not seem to have been well received - there it is. No problem - I am entitled to express a view and I do so politely enough :-

''the 'Events' industry is commercially driven and very active. If Prof.Lindy and her team attended all the available events around the World - very little else would get done !''

Of course Immunobody and Moditope are worthy of presentation - deserving the highest of circles IMHO.

Is this the 'floating' question ? Which 'vaccine' was combined with Diprovocim to achieve the same indicated results as Scancell got with SCIB1 and PD1, in the pre-clinical tests the basis of the coming trial in the USA ??

Maybe SCIB1 ? If not ? Any vaccine will do ?

To those in the dark - a relevant question - if another vaccine has matched our pre-clinical with PD1 - ?
