(BTW - on my other Forum - I'm holding forth about CFC being genuine contenders under Sarri's care - along with L'Pool to chase the Champs !).

Hi - I too think that the 'collaborations' we are all so pleased about, (CRUK, BioNTech, ISA, Karolinska) are probably the fruition of the endeavours of Prof. Lindy and RG over the years. No disrespect to JC, but I don't see how he could have had a lot of input.

San Diego is quite remote from Oxford and JC has fingers in other pies. JC is not being singled out - RG's emols also need explaining IMO. That's it - let's see what comes up in the AGM questions . . . .

Botski yes it's good that JC has invested - he has a bumper holding at an excellent average does he not ?

C7 - Some respected Shareholders will be asking questions about those emoluments of £225K for JC as a remote Chair and about that £321K for RG last year.

Let's hope for a better week as you say and maybe, some big fat news. IMHO something will come before the AGM.

Thanks for the reply Ivy. I don't think I have wavered at all in very strong support for RG until. . . . However, there is such an increase of magnitude in emols over the last few years - I don't quite know why - and SCLP SP wavers not far above issue price now - many yonks of years ago. Also RG has amazing options. It is reasonable IMO to expect some explanation !

Just watched my beloved Fulham and a newly admired Arsenal - ooops ! And C7 - your CFC are looking impressive too. As far as JC is concerned - with all those shares banked - that's a fat return for a remote now Non-Exec Chair - end of. That's the question. And not to deny all the good stuff - but the pay off should be afterwards not before - IMO.

C7 - if it is me you refer to - I've already topped up M8.

The Missis is away for 2 nights so I will continue my football feast with Liverpool v MCFC !

C7 - I still hope to hear more of CH's 'foreseen' monetization and that COULD be anyday anytime and before the results of the GC are announced. Perhaps sometime before the AGM ? Wait and see I guess . . .

DA - I agree that a positive note before the AGM would go someway to defuse 'awkward' questions on Emoluments - IMO it's valid and not unbecoming to discuss it. If they had doubled Prof. Lindy's salary I think I would be applauding but JC £225K (a remote Chair) and RG £321K needs some explanation . . . But IMHO any contention that 'something' has been achieved prior to 30/4 on the non-science front, which deserves such generosity, is IMO, a little frail.

Hanoi - a good time to top up indeed and I had a sizeable punt myself last week - couldn't resist.

Ivy - sometime in 2019 BoD will of course need to top up funds but we may hope for some monetization to obviate that need - plus, with a super award from GC, such a top up might be done at a much higher SP.

I had a long look at ESMO and failed to find any trace of Scancell - using all the keywords I could think of. There are 2995 presentations - far fewer than at CIC where Scancell did have 3 poster sessions. (Can't manage to find any news from CIC yet or any trace of Prof. Lindy's address at Phacillitate).

Re. 'Oh so quiet' - Steve and C7 - before a deal of any kind goes through there's so much work to get done in such a short time - and once the Lawyers get involved evenmoreso !! (I remember sleeping on a couch for 2 or 3 nights in 'Bond Pearce' whilst an MBO was completed) - this might OR might NOT be a reason for a radio silence . . .

RE. CIC - I looked around and could find no reports and even the resourceful 'Gooosed' has drawn a blank, noting that ''Alas no tweets of abstracts B104 Katherine Cook, B102 Victoria Brentville & A161 Mireille Vankemmelbeke presenting.'' I guess that these were the team Members attending CIC. Valuable nonetheless.

Re. the other place, I look because Gooosed, Berm, Timbo, and Inan post there and I wouldn't want to miss that input. I've had a bit of fun with DRD but normally he's on filter with Loz, Terror and sometimes Tosh. P7 is somewhat outspoken about the BoD as are others, but he did help me find some details so that's good.

I don't think our discussing Emoluments will affect the SP at all. Whilst I have always been very supportive of RG and the BoD there are obvious questions this year. You Guys on here are far too polite to discuss it . . . .
