DA - Ichor Trigrid 1 was redesigned at vast cost - it's likely that only Ichor 2 and consumables are now in manufacture?

It'd be a shame to lose that one bit of USA activity and the connections with the eminent Researchers over there . . but maybe now with CRUK, BioNTech and Genentech around - Scancell can progress without it ?

Very disappointing - I can feel sympathetic to BoD - perhaps they have been trying to turn the FDA around on some points and I guess that could have been a protracted process - with a sudden end ! Had hoped that Keith Flaherty's influence might be helpful but anyway. Re. 'communication' - maybe they should have kept us in the picture.

What's the progress on the alternative method of delivery ? Anyone ?

Regarding the RNS - in my own mind I think Ichor delivery has been the drawback 'in the woodpile' in several ways - cost of eqpt., Pharma acceptance, sore arms and a second layer of perceptions on top of a new vaccine ? Apart from the IND issue. Of course it was John Glencross who tweeted that last update ex CH . . . . .

Ray - Yes Prof. Lindy seems very relaxed despite a considerable amount going on in her head !

Did you notice in the Feb 16th presentation ? She says at 29.45 secs in the unedited recording, ''my goal is to cure ALL cancer'' - there's a smile on her face at that point !

I'd looked again to check on the smiling ! And noticed these bits again :-

22 mins 35 secs - citrullinated proteins - 37 recognised - 7 tested so far all had anti tumour response - 30 to go.

The Keytruda and Head and Neck cancers item was also in the big 'Independent' - same press release. Not only that, my Missis read about it in Thai, on her phone !! Great stuff. Also so many good posts to read here and enjoyed many comments.

Just imagine if good news breaks from the SCIB1 or SCIB2 trials one day - and good Moditope news one day? That'll be a 'rush' !

If any matter, commercial or scientific or pre-clinical, reaches a recognisable 'point of news' then there will be an RNS to divulge that, be it tomorrow, 30th October or any day at all . . . Tomorrow would be nice !

If Scancell win a Grand Challenge award - great - I'm guessing it will help change the way Investors regard Scancell and should help the SP too IMHO. Scancells's application must be very strong with the depth and pedigree of the team - 'co led' by Prof. Lindy and Prof. Sahin.

However, any other discussions, maybe of a 'financial nature', that are going on, might come to fruition at any time, irrespective of the GC results, (which will be Nov - Feb ?).

Crumbs SP x 1000 would be lovely but I don't see JC coming up with that ! Unfortunately . . .

Hi. In your 10.36 - ''Remember, Lindy is chairing it, not making the tea or part of it - she's at the helm.'' Unless that is a mistake in the Annual Report, it seems that Prof. Lindy is now jointly 'at the helm' with Prof Sahin although listed on CRUK as the Lead ?

I don't think this is a point that would detract from yours RW - with Prof. Sahin's status in BioNTech and his links with Genetech / Roche - perhaps we should be more than excited about it.

That 2016 video with Peter Fong of Genentech - IMHO a very impressive character.

I noted this point from Gooosed's post on the other side - the Annual Report :-

Prof. Sahin is co-Leader of Scancell's GC project with Prof. Lindy ?? But on CRUK's website '' Eradicating tumours with personalised cancer vaccines - A team of 16 led by Professor Lindy Durrant''.

Interesting . . . . Obviously Scancell and BioNTech are very close now . . .

Apart from WF's question, I didn't see more BB comments on Prof. Sahin's 'Challenges' address.

I listened again and Prof. Sahin seems to be talking of projects for 'personalised vaccines' and the difficulties of manufacturing for thousands of individual specs - I didn't hear mentions of vaccines sounding like Immunobody or Moditope modalities.

If BioNTech get a lusty Grant I wonder if some might be directed in Scancell's direction ?
Should Scancell submit an application here for a Grant too - success in CRUK's Grand Challenge might ease that door ? All good fun . . . .

Part of the the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's, 'Grand Challenges', a 3 day meet in Berlin last week.
Mr Sahin gives an assured performance and is in stellar Company, with Angela Merkel and Bill Gates himself giving an address - a tab at the bottom of the link 'see all videos' shows all the Presentations made . . .

Good to see one of Scancell's associates moving in such circles !
