Maybe so RW. Considering that many Companies in Europe and the USA have had a good look at Scancell's science it is surprising that no big dosh has been proffered in any way yet - some of Prof. Lindy's associates are Chinese - at least, we see some Chinese looking names on the science papers ?

Nothing ventured nothing gained ? We'll see . . .

The keyboard jumped the gun there ! Crumbs that's a 20 minute presentation by Scancell next Tuesday, 2.20 - 2.40pm. Doesn't really give enough time for an in depth scientific look at Scancell so I wonder if that's gonna be a CH trip ? Ivy, did Alan Lewis say who was going ?

With CRUK, BioNTech and Genentech maybe bubbling in the background, I wonder what the strategy is in taking this to China. Impossible to know what might come out of this trip, if anything, but certainly it should gives Scancell some wider exposure. Watch this space then ?

BioE - CH (Cliff Holloway) and LD (Prof. Lindy Durrant) - well maybe. I think Prof. Lindy might be busy in Nottingham. I'm not sure these Guys always need to meet at Conferences - but sometimes it's a fit. Usually, they can meet whenever they wish . . .

Just remembered there is another ESMO coming up - in Zurich - why not pop over and combine the Meet with a bit of skiing while you're there - Einsiedeln recommended.

Maybe so, but surely those you list, who may be involved with Scancell in the USA one day, will be dealing directly with Scancell's scientists in the UK not JC himself.

Office or no office - perhaps it doesn't really matter. (On the JC/USA front, It was the fact that JC paid himself more than Prof. Lindy that I found odd). ATB

Botski - thanks for those notes. Re. SCIB2 - CH indicated as much? That's a long wait - is that caused by NanoVesicle delivery ? All in all not very encouraging at all . . . .

WW 09.17 - ''JC and CH should have started out saying - we understand the disappointment of some and are happy to stay as long as required to answer all your questions.'' I agree with that 100%. I predicted that the Q & A would be deflected by an urgent need for biscuits! Another BoD mistake.

Chester 10.18 - no one has suggested anyone's 'paid for nothing'. Scancell's fine progress is the work of RG/CH and LD/SA and team. JC in the USA won't be contributing much to the FDA/IND process - that's mainly SA?

DA 10.54 - comes back to C7's 'communication'. BoD don't try hard - rather than tweets - some sort of 'Court Circular' on status of main activities - even a non-committal 'in progress' re FDA/IND weekly would have kept us in the picture. It should be CH's job to provide a weekly review on the Scancell website IMO. Just an idea. But something !

Me - I think we can bucket the idea that something 'left field' is expected right now and can also forget about CH and his 'foreseeable' monetization. I'll put those down to Director's optimism and enthusiasm.

Me - the news that CRUK ARE running SCIB2 Combo trial is good, freeing up scarce Scancell resource for many other priorities, and evenmoreso, I'm sure somewhere that it was confirmed that NanoVesicle delivery would be used. IMO that's momentous.

Seriously, Prof. Lindy is the science powerhouse of Scancell as we know, but Dr Sally Adams gave a very assured performance too. Team Scancell may or may not have underestimated the phenomenal amount of work in the FDA submissions - it was truly mindboggling to hear about it.

Prof. Lindy - I just don't know how her brain has a grip on all this science - my heroine ! Fantastic Lady.

Chester - IMO - Prof. Lindy was spot on (as always) and Sally Adams was equally impressive - that's the first time I've heard SA speak at any length and I thought she was very composed and helpful.

I can see you're in a 'quicksand' mood but I've moved on. Enjoyed the discussions yesterday (and have nothing I feel I need to defend).

I am thinking about the AGM now - tomorrow's chat should be good if we have Steve's recording to play with. ATB
