Spot on Mr Mac, having seen my investment post consolidation drop by 54% I most assuredly will not be exposing any more flesh in this game. Of course I am not the only one to think that the markets are swimming against the tide, looking around at the recent decisions by Tesco, Waitrose and Sainsbury's/Argos to close stores and quite a few of them, it is no surprise that the markets are losing liquidity due to the reluctance of Punters/Investors to place their funds at risk.
I know that shares are mostly a speculation, where risk returns a reward, or that is the way that it used to be.
Good luck all
Yes - I noticed that this board had been filtered/censored this morning - good job that I had read all the posts and I do mean ALL.
How strange that the last post was from our permanent stranger.
May of course be due to a technical issue/site maintenance or something.
anyway - good luck all.

Open Banking - but will it do what it says on the tin. All these innovations are all very well for the people operating them, after all they want to sell them to us and usually at some cost somewhere.
As far as I am concerned the banks were much better to deal with when they were regulated and were obliged to return all cheques issued once they were processed. There used to be code of confidentiality which was reasonably reliable - especially in the case of Irish Banks who needed to protect their depositors - this no longer something that it is possible to rely on, or for them to guarantee. These days with computers at every level in the system, security is the problem that everybody who banks On-Line must be aware of when data is now being processed all over the world and is now a commodity.
Good luck all.
When the last consolidation took place, our shares were allocated to us priced at @7.40 - how nice would it have been if they were worth that. For those amongst us who feel that they are serving a life sentence - we have been mugged and right royally several times now - talk about sharp practice.
The valuation placed on this share by the market makers should go down in history along with Boris's 350 MLn a day.
To cap it all - even though I have written to them and they know my new address I have still to receive MY DIVIDEND on my much devalued holding.
Tried my new course today - it is a beauty but hard work getting round because of quite steep hills and the fact that I was short on horse power today.
Good luck all.
How does this man keep going with a back full of arrows - he must realise by now that the game is over for him. Newsnight this evening was even less informative than usual so I switched to UTV. The View from Stormont was much more informative, explaining why an open border was just plain not workable because of the way some goods move through England on there way to the continent.
Tariffs would apply to goods leaving the Republic and would be levied at the port, drive up to the North where there are no checks and an open border and the goods simply sail out of Belfast.
The Incredible Hulk is a dead man walking in my estimation - looking at his most recent appearances it is beginning to really show that he knows it. Perhaps he should make Reese-Mogg his deputy and send him to Europe for the next meeting or at least take him with him for the experience - then they can both bow out together.
Our Dave has re-appeared in an interview broadcast tonight which shows how keen his publisher is to recover his advance from book sales. He was on independent tonight and will be on the BBC on Thursday - nothing like publicity to get a good book moving.
Posted earlier this evening - pressed the button and my post vanished - never mind we'll see what happens this time.
Good luck all.
"The British Exchequer won't have enough to make pension payments and run its public services" - of course it will - you forget that the UK government prints its own money just like Zimbabwe.
The real question is - how much will the currency be worth when it comes to buying all those imported goods and cars.
Good luck all
You've said it PGee - Has to be the tower - all the other places are centrally heated with TV's in the cell. I like the idea of seeing him with the guttering candle chained to the wall in a cell that has bars instead of glass.
The utterances of our LTI only goes to prove what they always say in the West Country - "You cannot educate Pork"
Good luck all
The toothless blond haired "lion" climb the steps of government buildings to shake hands with Leo. I suspect that he has finally discovered that politics is not like rugby it has a bit more to it than a scrum.
Leo's speech was measured and unwavering supported by the might of Europe, which hopefully he can rely on. Boris's expression while Leo was talking was so expressive, another few days and that should be that - end game.
Boris admits himself to the Priory following his resignation and admits that he eats Magic Mushrooms, leaving the new administration to sort out the mess that the last three years have created and he has made worse.
I still find it hard to believe what has happened over the last three years, England really is in a dreadful state when they have created a situation based on lies that will see them leave the richest club in the world whilst raising its flag amongst all those lovely but bankrupt African states.
The country's over-dependence on the City and its financial services is now coming home to roost while the high street dies.
Poor Old Albion the sun is setting fast on the empire.
Good luck all....
Never mind them the DUP have suddenly tasted mortality, a cold hand is taking hold of their vitals and their fine feathers are starting to fall out.
Change is coming which hopefully will be for the better.
Mr Mac - Now I like that proposal a lot - the sooner that the DUP are defenestrated the better, their default position is always NO.
Now that the dice is finally cast we will not proceed from here on the basis of the Status Quo. The democratic deficit that we have had to work with here has finally come home to roost in the UK due to the actions of the DUP and latterly of ERG. The situation here has enraged the people - no that is not too strong a word - Arlene announced this evening that she is not standing for re-election because I suspect that she is putting her house on the market with a view to moving south of the border. Can't see that solving her problem, she and her party have caught the Conservative disease, which causes them to forget all about their constituents and the problems and hardship that Brexit will bring to them.
Whilst I am not expecting an earthquake due to the demographics, change is coming starting with the DUP who are perceived by everyone to have done even less than Sinn Fein for their people over the last almost three years. Both party's will suffer at the hands of the electorate, it does not take that much of a swing to change the balance of power due to proportional representation.
I am beginning to feel hopeful that the change that I am expecting is starting to emerge.
We are blocked here by the mountain from receiving RTE TV - from yesterday our new mast now beams RTE 1 & 2. Is this part of the change ?
Good luck all
Broadcast on Parliament live today was a meeting of the Northern Ireland Committee where a team from Queens answered questions put by the few members of that committee present. I could not see that more than two members of that committee were from the DUP.
The ones that you can normally rely on to create a lot of smelly wind were nowhere to be seen but there place names were all stacked up neatly on an adjoining table.
I would recommend anyone who is interested, to note the contribution of Lady Herman to the debate which was both thoughtful and courteous.
For the rest, their absence from the debate spoke volumes - "never there when they are wanted" - just like Stormont. No doubt they were rushing about looking for life jackets and asking which office do they apply to for their P45's.
The next election, which cannot be far away, will deal them another hammer blow as democracy here starts to produce its first tender shoots and signs of hope for the future.
Britain must indeed be very wealthy - when it can waste so much time and capital on such individuals who have caused so much damage to the UK economy over these last wasted three years.
Good luck all.
