USA navy has the Archer class of unmanned naval boats fitted with anti-mine drones. It would still be a challenge to get through and they would need several Archers to protect one tanker. They also have a new class of missile that goes through 20 feet of concrete before detonation to take out deep production tunnels. The time extension may have also involved the delivery of Archer ships to the Gulf but that is speculation on my part.

It would only take a 25,000 buy at 7p from me this morning. No quote was offered on higher blocks. Adds to the mystery. MMs playing games.

I got 10,000 at 19.5p last week. This is a very dangerous week for all equities as we can not be sure what will happen in the Gulf in coming days. If a peace deal happens it would be good news. I think most of us have to be cautious and not chase after a missed bus and just wait for the next chance. I will leave my 20p order on for today at least.

I have bought more BRES and regard it as a bargain this morning. The share is below its DFS and reserve additions RNS. Should be at least a whole penny higher on where it sits.

How can the share get lower than before its DFS stage and additional reserves are going to e added afterwards is beyond me. There is a real risk of the company being bought outright and taken out of our hands completely.

Nobody could buy anything below 22p this morning on HL platform. This is after a share dilution. I will wait until after Easter. Never mind I have a core holding in profit. If they offered us a raise at 20p we could have paid into it. Instead somebody else got all the pie. I am not chasing after this one. Tony

Fulmar, no issue with the raise this morning but the price action treats retail like idiots by the market maker. No volume behind the bull trap of any significance.

Paying a higher price this morning is not for me. This happened once before if memory serves me correct and went sharply down later. A bull trap.

We knew this was incoming back in November. Anyone not expecting this believes in the magic money tree. Of course there is another raise around August 2027 when serious construction begins. I would expect the share price to initially reflect the dilution that has occurred. After a few weeks it could rally back as it did on two occasions before.

this is a highly critical week. the peace plan being worked on in ****stan either delivers a workable outcome that both iran and usa can choose to accept or a very serious escalation in the gulf war arises. the usa agenda is all about control of oil being sold in dollars and nothing else matters that much to them. usa saves their reserve currency status or they fail quite spectacularly and that depends on oil sales in usd. this time next week we may have some idea of the likely outcome.

venezuela was invaded to break up a 2m barrels of oil supply to china per year in exchange for infrastructure rebuild including a new oil refinery in venezuela and that trade involved no usa dollars and was agreed december 2025. the president was captured a couple of weeks later by usa troops. venezuela priced its oil in usa dollars 24 hours after the maduro extraction event. the gulf states or at least the saudis were selling some of their oil in yuan. it will be interesting if that trend also continues in the future. the stakes are very high this week.

I should have said if they decide to build it.

Uganda may soon have its own oil refinery which may be very handy for BRES.

The news has been frequent in comparison to similar peer commodity equities. Those with a lot of commodities stocks in their portfolios see oil companies up and everything else down. Possibly aluminium producer stocks may be up after a plant was taken out by the Iranians last night in the Gulf states.

The Iran war has put pressure on all emerging market stocks. The baby is being thrown out with the bath war. This was warned about on Bloomberg this morning. It is a case for those with plenty of cash to do a bit of equity shopping. The key is to know what you want, know its value and be prepared for more volatility and getting into a good great position for late 2027.

The CEO will be emphasising the power source is hydroelectric. They are likely to include an inflation contingency. Better to ask for $28M for phase 1 instead of $20M in the term sheet and be realistic. Besides graphite in dollars could go up 30-40% as well. The funding source might be a bigger company like Glencore rather than a bank.

Sally is not a chemist, but hopefully someone brought her up to speed on what makes this company's assets of particular interest at this time. For example it is incredible important for the production of green hydrogen energy in which the UK government is expanding at this time. I hope they have used her day out of the office wisely and can build up product supply contacts to UK.

Average Brent futures price since 1 January until 27 March was $76.24. By 31 March it will hit $77.3 per barrel on the futures average from 1 January. Tullow additional cash flow likely $12M in Q1. If the average price is $100 a barrel for all of April the average price since 1 Jan hits $89. Total additional free cash flow for Tullow hits $32M. This equates to 1.7p on the enterprise value of Tullow at 1 PE rate. At 4PE rating the value on the SP should be 6.8p higher. The oil price only has to stay high for one month for the Tullow free cash flow to hit significant levels.
