As for a next prediction, I think we will be lower than we were before last week's figures by the time that the next ones are due. Maybe 23/23.5p. This is not "de-ramping" anymore than my saying 525 tonnes for May was. It us a reflection of the current reality. Strummer is reviewing in October whereas I will do so next April. I would like to think there will be a profit on my 34p average by then but it may not be more than a grand or two.

With respect MB, you had us at 100 million mcap by end of March this year. I consider my view of Rambler's prospects to be a balanced one uninfluenced by a desire to make money. I can see the positives (increasing production and grades) but likewise can see that we are stuck with regard to the SP. I don't believe that K2 will sell up this month. I suspect that they will wait for the production inspired spike at the start of July and August and cash in gradually thus holding us back. My recent, accurate, forecasts have resulted in my being painted as pessimistic. It's an irony of this board that being right brings more flak than being wildly wrong.

"In time" are the operative words. Unfortunately many of us didn't get in at these levels and need a significant jump just to break even. Given the tendency of the company to run into bad luck, should we approach 100 million mcap I suspect many may join K2 on the sidelines. Serious money may simply be beyond people's investing horizons. At 56 I want to spend money soon not make it some time in the future!

The pattern of up 2p and down again suggests II selling so hopefully this will end soon, but it could still be that until we hit production repeatedly we do as I predicted and tread water. I would very much prefer to be wrong and see mid 30s at the start of July but just can't see it. As stated before, good news simply doesn't move the dial.

Aubery. Lots of ifs and buts. I assumed that K2 would keep selling until they are out which, at their current rate, could be a while. Probably holding back for each production inspired rise at the start of every month.

We tread water until we show 2 more months of increasing production. If guidance still 7000 by start of Sep we should be around 40p.

What field are RRM in? Are they copper miners too? :-)

I will go for 525 and guidance lowered to 6500. All my shares have been woeful this year and it would be too simple to see 650 and the sp at 35p. A long hard grind is far more in keeping for me.

Tssz. Given that May doesn't finish until tomorrow, what would an rns be issued for that would catch out PIs? Monthly production can't be issued until the month has ended unless I've missed something.

Either they bought knowing figures will be good or because they want to give confidence for the longer term. Would be odd to pay 23 if 20 was looming....

What is holding us back is that we have got nowhere near to producing 1/12 of 7000 tonnes in any month this year. 2 or 3 months between 650 and 700 without any excuses/broken kit or hints of placings and the sp will respond accordingly.

Ah yes, Quint. The man who said his hours of research had led to the conclusion that a placing would be at .23 and who then mocked those who had predicted .18. My basic arithmetic tells me the .18 boys and girls were closer in their predictions/guesses. Quint went on to say how he was a better investor than others despite yet another prediction that didn't come to pass. My favourite is the 'production rns will take us up to .42'. A real chestnut among many others.

I read regular about Quint doing 'hours and hours of research' and wonder what exactly he is reading. I look closely at every rns and have updated myself on ccs. That took a couple of hours and led me to conclude that in several years time there may be a few bags here. Perhaps I am missing something but whatever he is reading doesn't seem to make his approach any more profitable than mine. I managed to get out of 75% of my holding at just under .25, which was still at a loss. The remainder are in a drawer marked 2026.

Given two recent interviews and the Q and A, along with a slew of rns releases, this report contained nothing to get excited or depressed about. A raising will come at anything between .16 and .23 depending on whether you are a bull or a bear. Then Oilex will try once more to make the money last long enough for it to be used for its intended purpose.

My answer is 3. I don't believe the market is focusing on two words in the rns. It is treading water waiting for the company to deliver results, which as a holder of 150,000 shares I am hoping they do. As for K2, let's just give that one a rest as it's becoming repetitive and boring.

In many cases the market is forward looking but that is clearly not the case here. Investors know the history of Rambler, including recent mishaps, and will only be persuaded by consistent production numbers. Potential there may be, but realising it will be the only thing that moves this.
