This is by far the most amusing phenomenon across LSE. A holder makes a series of very optimistic predictions which proved completely ill founded with the sp going in the opposite direction. Do they hold up their hands and admit a mistake? Not at all. They just keep 'topping up'. Eventually this topping up has to end surely. I don't buy a share and hope it goes down so I can top up. I buy in the hope that it goes up. If I thought it was heading down, I would wait; wouldn't you?

I have never seen a board with so many references to shorts or being short. Is this a share chat board or a disvussion about dwarfism? Given the number of green boxes I can only assume that mag has been banging on about shorters again. Wish I had shorted at 8, but no idea how. Anyway, new year might see double digits and a small profit.

Mannan. USA tends to give rounded sp.....6 cents, 7 cents etc. It is probably south of 6.5 but then with uk at 5.75 ish, that would roughly equate. They also only update hourly. No point worrying about the gyrations, this is going boom or bust in next 6 months. Take your pick.

It may well be, but not by people on here. Shorting is for professional traders, not PIs.

To date exactly zero posters have replied to my asking for numbers of people who hold a short position. They may of course be ignoring me but equally there maybe no such people. My guess is that very few PIs short any stock and that those that do, don't waste their time on here justifying their actions.
