Yes. Still have high hopes that peace will win out. Negotiations are ongoing which is vital, unfortunately it's standard war tactics (especially for Russia) to continue with their 'military operation' until any deal is reached.

Apparently lots of negotiations behind the scenes that aren't being reported which is vital (reports of ambassadors coming and going etc)

Anyone think TEK might be sitting on a bit of news, waiting for a slightly sunnier outlook?

It's not going to be beach weather for a while but I wouldn't be surprised if we get some sort of RNS next week. There's only so long you can keep news under your hat (legally)

Wouldn't be suprised , apart from holding and suspension RNS etc etc, if there had been a reduction in meaningful news over the last couple of weeks from companies in general.

I've been watching the chart indicators on this over the last few days....It's still a bit early to call but there are signs of green shoots. Oversold and unloved but it s displaying all the signs of bottoming out. War, Short attack (pretty unsophisticated droning if you read the other bb). I don't think we ll have to wait too much longer. Just about any favourable RNS should start this off and if so the direction of the wind can change pretty quickly.

I'll keep an eye on it next week but it wouldn't surprise me if forward thinkers start buying in, in anticipation of a trading update in April (?) or whenever.

Fingers crossed. 55p in the blink of an eye for starters with the right kind or RNS (Japan deal and up front payment), good traction in the states etc)

Jesus I'm staying clear of these 'bargains' until we're through this. I've been mulling over trading them over the last few days but it's pure binary, big wins or nothing. Suspensions, pulled dividends etc etc. It's a nightmare. Feel really sorry for genuine long term holders over there but don't be swayed by cr@p on bbs. They were all piling into EVR yesterday at 80p as it was going ex dividend today (37p!). They've pulled the divi and now EVR is suspended. Total casino. There will be good money to be made on these miners but not until these situation resolves itself. Putin getting toppled (and that could happen) would probably be the best outcome for just about everyone, anywhere, including Russia.

Don't want to get trapped and liquidity can be a real ballbreaker with volatile shares.

I'm encouraged by Ukraine saying they will no longer seek to join NATO (yesterday). Still a long way to go but there is light at the end of the tunnel. A combination of hard hitting sanctions, a bloody resistance and compliance from the Ukraine on the NATO issue could be the start of some long drawn out negotiations.

Market likes it. Hopefully a cease fire soon whilst they get round a table somewhere.

Cheap Cheap Cheap ! - I'm sure it doesn't feel that way, especially to punters underwater with all the noise going on around us, and always hard to call the bottom anywhere but this could be real bargain territory for lots of stocks. not just TEK.

I like TEKs portfolio companies though and think they'll hold up in troubled waters.

Bellescura. The demand will remain high. Salarius. Legislation will drive this. We're seeing green shoots. Guident. Again, we're hearing about accelerating a move away from oil. Going to benefit in the long run. LUCYD. Pretty much a play thing of the young. Doubt the demand for fancy tech will diminish. It's been increasing for decades.

I wouldn't want to predict anything short term but everything is still progressing whilst the sp has been on the slide. That has to change at some point.

If you're looking for a top up beginning of April you'll be crossing your fingers LUCYD doens't float beforehand. I have it pencilled in for mid april so I reckon you'll be ok there. Once that goes it will really underline the business model.

Never say never, especially in this day and age but not sure I agree. Most of this is stateside so it's insulated to a degree.

I'm not sure I share your views there. Salarius and Guident are making great strides. A decent bulk order for Salarius and Guident now responding to tenders.

Rocky times but business continues and the market is well oversold. I think a recovery may not be as far off as people think but that's just my view.

I always keep dry powder though so will exploit any weakness where I see fit. I'd like to buy poly but I said that at 1.66 and didn't and it's nearing a £1. Could be a bargain but wouldn't bet on it....not know anyway

That is a jolly speculation indeed. Are you going to buy any POLY. I keep looking at it but it's either a massive bargain or it's going to delist and it'll be worth 0p. Tricky one.

It's finished very strongly on Friday and yesterday which at least suggests there is support there and someone is snapping up the cheap shares.

This is without doubt a troubled market but decent stocks will emerge from the ruins. Against the ghastly backdrop in eastern europe business is going on as usual. More so stateside.

It would be a good time for a Shield to give us a trading update with some indication that the sales are ramping up and that they are prescribing at full whack. That would get the ear of the market, even in these trying times.

I'm the opposite. You have legitimate concerns but Russia don't want to spend long in the Ukraine if they can help it. Why would they? They've already claimed they don't want territory, other than crimea and the independent regions in the south.They want Nato to give them space and they want Ukraine neutral. That's there no.1 priority. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up in a delay to any nato entry, at least as a temporary respite.

I've bought this morning and am steadily building a large holding. I have cash for 6p if it gets there. My average is now a little over 7p.

You don't make this money in this game by buying at the top, but I concede it's a risk. No risk, no reward. I have a mid term view so happy to give it a couple of years at least to reap big rewards.

The above is just my strategy but appreciate it's not for everyone, or even a good strategy.

All about Nato and little else. That's the end game anyway and looks like the Ruskies are cutting to the chase now they've softened up Ukraine.

We've got our collective western leaders to blame for not dealing with this earlier IMO. They see NATO as a threat to their borders and it's been going on for years...here is a recent article (December) on what they were asking for before they sent the troops in.

Yeah. Until the markets get used to this war nightmare it's looking rocky. There's a definite disconnect, especially with TEK plying the majority of it's business stateside (bar Bell).
