It's an irrational market so if you're not selling just switch off (it will recover as it always does) and if you're buying don't be too hasty.

The market has overreacted but that's what it does isn't it. No surprises there. My take. They'll contain it and it will fade away as the weather warms up. It's unlikely to like warmer conditions and people just don't get as ill when they're not ground down by dark days and cold, draining weather.

I also think that 'they' are following a protocol which has probably been in place for quite some time and was created to deal with new diseases with the ultimate goal of being able to contain something more dangerous or indeed when the day comes when some mad entity creates or manipulates a virus for the sake of warfare, terrorism etc.

Not sure about chrome prices as they are so hard to pin down but thought there had been a bit of a rally before Christmas.

What is to like in his interview are his pgm figures. Approx $1000 an ounce previously and now somewhere between $1400-$1500 per ounce - That's a hell of a hike in revenue and that's before any additional input.

At least we can assume no massive deal going on behind the scenes (at least for now) with a nasty share dilution attached.

One less worry even though the buy itself is negligable

Re Colin - Absolutely MH, more likely to be a cash call the way all these aim stocks with no income operate. Funding, Funding, Funding, every time. Anyone buying into Aim stocks that aren't well funded or making money are gambling big time

There's no RNS regarding application but there are posts on the GLR bb that refer to an application in November and a 90 day wait and also that Colin was asked at their AGM in December and said so, but I didn't hear it with my own ears and I haven't seen an RNS with my own eyes either ! - The post is not being disputed on the GLR bb so maybe there is some truth in the application at least.

Morning Moneyhawk. I think GLR applied for their small scale licence in November or at least there is reference to it on a website somewhere but for me licences and Africa are no foregone conclusion by any means - Look at Dilakong!

Hi TbtT - My post re SLP was purely based on how I would expect any SLP to react after such a powerful rise, and congrats to all SLP holders as holders researched and bought well there, but yes, I wouldn't want anyone to be selling on my advice and I would never be posting a comment like that on the SLP bb ! - Just chat whilst we are waiting our turn over there. You could do a lot worse than selling SLP right now and investing in JLP. Not because SLP is not a well run, well organised business as it clearly is, but it put in a low around the mid 30s before the recent rise off the back of their interims. I think upwards of 70 or just under is about your lot for now and you can probably expect a retrace before the next leg up.

Let's hope they get the small scale mining licence otherwise it's just speculative buying. Still a risk until that's awarded imo. Granted less profit to be made once awarded. Depends on your risk/reward appetite I guess

Interesting conversation this one so thanks to Jammer and TBTT for posting. It's very good to see SLP s SP reacting so well to the increase in basket price now highlighted through their interims.

I've just popped on my rose tinted specs of course but you would think that JLPs SP should be well positioned to react in the same manner or better when their interims are out. The increase in basket price will be documented but added to this should be a vast ramp up in output so a double result.

A positive update on Kabwe before or alongside would be the 'cherry' though.

Interesting few weeks ahead and I expect buying in anticipation.

That's true Kalan - A buy out would mean swarms of wealthy investors looking for a home for their money or at least some of it - Just have so little faith in aim that when I hear about false tweets and exaggerated reports (and Russia all in a few posts It's easy to form a negative opinion very quickly. Hopefully I'll be wrong
