Very good Kalan, A decent update with clear direction on Kabwe is obviously needed. Hopefully this will get things moving and then then good yearly accounts will keep the momentum going. I need to find the presentation that came out a few months ago highlighting income streams over the next few years. Will be good to see how they perform against their own forecasts. On course will be great, better will be fabulous (they've been low key with their predictions for a while now so may be their new MO if we're lucky). Good luck with everything

Amen, although I wouldn't put my stash on it ! - Yes quiet over here but also a 'comparative' safe haven. With a large stake invested steady progress allows me to sleep soundly. Looking at this over the term of this year initially and then i'll reassess depending on where we are (or aren't)

Interesting post Kalan and your desire to be 'thick' - at least with reference to making money by luck rather than judgement. If it makes you feel any better most will watch their paper profits disappear so won't benefit from the hype. I'd like to see that kind of hype over here. Maybe a Tijate rumour would be the way to go for Jubilee. They could go to town on that if they were inclined

Absolutely. TbtT - It's absolute madness. It will hit 8p or thereabouts and then retrace to 4p in the blink of an eye. Traders dream and if anyone was looking for an entry 4p would not be beyond question now. Anyone piling in now will be impaled on a spike for eternity imo

Yes Strong bounce for JLP but not on stonking volume I may add so interesting to see how the next few days plays out. Good call. It may have been on the cards but I didn't expect quite the weakness this time round as the sp has been performing relatively well on the whole. Are you still out ?

Big sell off today, probably Samancor woes as they are pretty much a one trick pony (all be it a good trick) as far as I know

Hi Kalan, Yes agreed. The 8 million was H2 not H1 as I previously stated, although Leon has mentioned that this only included 2 months of Windsor production so not sure why there is a lag (probably just admin, invoice settlement dates etc that have kept some of the cash flow out of this update). The half yearlies should shed a little more light. Still a bit murky out there !

so already 3 months of Windsor earnings to the bottom line. The half yearly audited results are out in a few weeks i think so that may shed a few more rays of light

Good points Kalan and as always a well articulated post but the 8 million relates to H1 2019 no ?....Will be a lot more for H1 2020 - Apologies if I haven't digested the RNS correctly

Best is that everything is on track from what I can see, including Kabwe. Doesn't seem to be any water or power issues so i'm happy with that.

Got my order filled today @ $990 for a long on platinum. It's been knocking about for a few weeks. There has been 2 spikes down but (not filled) but this time around it spent a good hours sub $990. That should have allowed a lot to get on board (what I think may have been needed for the next leg up.

Hopefully next leg up on the cards. A side show really whilst we wait but higher platinum prices can only be good news all round

You would hope that they would be happy to keep Hermic going with Plat prices as they are. I can't see any specific mention of where these jobs are going but that would give us a better outline. I'm sure we will all be the wiser a few weeks down the line.

Whatever way you care to slice and dice it the chrome is very much a side show, probably wrapped up with the extraordinary good bit of business with the Hernic PGMs (a catch if you like). They've now got a pile of chrome tailings to work through but with the current margins they should prioritise their other projects in front of this. Nothing really to see here imo.

Yeah, i read about the job cuts. Sounds like the price of chromes should be bottoming out (positive spin i know). Job cuts always seem to come right at the end of a cycle before a pick up. Will be very interesting to see if Leon has played a blinder here and got the timing right. It remains to be seen where Chrome prices will be 6 months down the line but they could well be on the up by then. Who knows
