I'm no fan of this Government Kalan, by a long chalk, but I am in total agreement with their science and methodology on this one, although I can't imagine all those at high risk can remain isolated for so long. At the very least I, and more so the elderly will want to meet the Corona Virus with a pair of shorts on when it starts sweeping through the population. We're all healthier and probably able to weather most illnesses far better during warmer summer months.

Sorry to hear about your woes Snaffleman. Sounds like you've been dealt a bad hand there but your loved ones are healthy and that's worth more than anything. Keep your stash safe and I'm sure you'll do well on the upswing when everything settles down. Just out of interest did you sell out of SAVP today ? If so good move. That looks a fake rise if ever I saw one.

Thanks for your thoughts Kalan. Yes, it's set up to fall isn't it. Just can't see a nice opening on Monday after a weekend of negative news. They've really got their teeth into this and people are getting hysterical. When I see a lady buying everything she can in the corner shop I know the world has gone mad and that only means one thing. The cancellation of all the sporting events etc and news reports of footballers with Covid-19 banded about (they undoubtedly picked it up in Europe) really does enforce where this is going. If they shut the schools (which i reckon they will soon or at least tag a week or two onto the Easter holidays) that's going to be another headache for everyone and send out another red flag to all and sundry.

My dreams of getting rich and moving into a bigger house are over for this year but they are still in tact at least !

I just can't see this getting over 3.3-3.5p for the forseeable so I've taken advantage of the strength in the market to unload the rest. Wish I'd ditched them at 4p as my finger was hovering on the sell button with 40% of my holding which I later sold at 3.4p. My average is 2.97 so I will live (hopefully) to fight again.

I too was around in 2008 and watched my wealth erode on a daily basis, holding on and hoping that the market would see sense, that it was overreacting. My stocks did recover of course. I also lost my job but got a good payout which i used when the market recovered. I did well but could have done much better if I hadn't been so stubborn with the selling.

I planned to wait until the 1/2 yearlies to get out of here but by my reckoning everyone probably has the same plan and It wouldn't surprise me if JLP put out an amazing report and it opened down. The MM's no the game and the order book will tell the story. I would also not be surprised to see a large sell reported later today. It's days like this with strength in the SP when large sales are made.

This is a good company and I will be watching. I wish all holders the best and can only reiterate that if you are not selling switch off. It's really not worth the angst.

My POV. Check out the historical chart on the yearly. It's got 2.25p stamped all over the sp from where we are now. Some strong support at 2.7p but stronger at 2.25p and it may even flirt with 2-2.1p but not for long.

Tough decision but i've got a couple of young kids (5 & 3) so I need to stay in the game for them.

Still here and still reading all your excellent posts, bulls and bears but a backseat driver for the time being. Hopefully this will be a quick recovery and we'll be back to our best in the autumn but for now I'm out of everything bar a few GLR (news flow will still continue of course)

I see what you mean MM - I had the 2p cap initially down owing to these warrants so interesting to hear they will expire relatively soon. Of course if some exercise that will add funds to the coffers so conversely they might want to issue news beforehand so they can bump up their funds. Interesting times

Anyone else care to hazzard a guess at SP potential this year ?....We're all here to make money so nice to know where everyone thinks this might go. I'm guessing up to 2p on or shortly after licence and 3-4p by year end assuming mining has commenced (can't see why it wouldn't being open pit). I'm sure there will be others with higher valuations (or lower?) and good to hear all views.

Just out of interest (and I'm sure this has been done to death already) what are everybody's price targets on

1. Licence news

2. Medium term SP (say by year end etc)

Probably a precursor to a deal with GLR I reckon. That can't be too far off.

Surely if the fundamentals are correct, this has to be very much in cheap takeover territory?

No one will be taking over anyone for a while. Why would you when you'll be able to take over for half the price in 6 months time. No one will be financing much either unless it's massively favourable with a stack of killer warrants attached, that's why I enquired as to whether there is any imminent debt that needs settling or cash required. All oilers are getting killed but oilers with debt will be there to pick up at ridiculous prices soon. Think back to 2009 and you ll get the picture

Coronavirus is having a massive effect on the market. Have you seen the price of Oil these days. It's tanking daily added to BoD radio silence. Not been in SAVP for a long time but is there debt that needs paying off soon. Anything highly geared will be in trouble over the next few months big time. Not sure if that's the case here at all. Can anyone highlight briefly what the debt situation is please (how much and terms of repayment etc)

In for a punt yesterday - My trade never showed up for some reason. (1 million yesterday am). I'm using a little the portion of my JLP stake that I took off the table as a hedge against a macro pounding. Bizarrely because it's all about the licence the risk of everything else seems less significant.

Leon was definitely alluding to Zinc deals in his latest interview too so It's a good bet. Anyhow another prospector here !

They're not really moving the bid up though and the spread is getting wider. Big trade coming through somewhere along the line imo.

Sold 2nd tranch of 250,000 at 3.4 today whilst the SP is relitively strong. That's 40% out and I feel better for it. I'm aware I'm virtually guaranteeing the rest of you and instant rise but i've still got 750,000 in. I'm a one trick pony so I have to be on guard.

Just a hedge against the indices and money on the sidelines to buy in as soon as things settle down.
