Colour must have been one of the very long term holders, when losses were incurred and has not got over it. He will be even more narked when SP rises sharply and he vanity STOPS him from buying in.

Give up Colour, you are starting to look a laughing stock, you know CC is about to take off and you are annoyed. You win some, you lose some, this share is on its way and can be seen so, except by you and your gang.
There is still time to get in quick and have another go, this time a winner.

Upon thinking about it that was probably just the reaction to RNS.
Colour, whilst it was quite a size and was probably over what JC needed it will put money in the pot for rapid expansion.
Remember I suggested a 1 for 2 issuance but this was based on a 20p SP offered at 10p.
We did not go above 15p so JC probably had to make decisions especially as SP was starting to fall back.
The open offer I suggested above to all shareholders then became not doable he needed the whole offer to be taken up.
So he offered again to known sources. JST probably did not take up because when sales get underway they will make a good sum as an agent in Far East.
I would say he has made a good move to secure funds and sales are now well underway. He knows SP is about to take off so their extra risk is not great, its not going into an unknown situation.
Probably back to 15p before Nov 5th meeting which will make the offer look good.

Surprised but they probably got cold feet at 56m size of new shares.

Do not go to any meetings, moan your head off, set everyone else up to ask your questions.
To me you are hiding behind a mask, came in too early lost a lot and cannot help but moan even though the little you have left in value could recoup some losses but probably would take years to clear the decks. Where as people in during last couple of years stand to make good earnings.

Colour, to me at least, this is not coming over as logical. Who would, anywhere in the world, expect 10m meters a month to be supplied, least of all India. That's 2 years done and dusted. This is going on for years.
I think that we had better wait and see over next 2 or 3 months what the outcome is going to be.
I still think that you should stock up with CC before too dear or too scarce. No one is selling.

Just back from a good lunch. I see you lot have been enjoying yourselves. Whilst the SMETS2 handover was delayed to Jan19 as I understand it they are going in it's just the date the Government will recognise costing for SMETS1 that moves back.
We are suppose to get 10% of SMETS2 at £25m, possibly rising to 30% (£37m). That's not bad is it Colour and believe it or not could even be bigger.
That was just to take your mind off India which we are making great inroads (Indore) into according to Anil; you should have been there instead of sunning it.

Colour.. Don't play games. I can read charts the same as you and with top line companies I would go deeper.
However we are looking at a company that has a good product that needs to breakeven costs wise to take off.
Many including yourself have been going on and on about costs, that is the first obstacle, once over we are away.

Thanks ITT.. As was said that could all change and speed up. My breakeven calculation at present is not asset value, that will follow. My need at present is that monthly income equals monthly expense. Once that is met it is profit all the way as long as things do not change. Anil's surmise for the new Omnimesh version is that orders are and will build rapidly.
Well that got my interest.

Hello Colour.. For the sake of expediency can you point me towards JC's calculations and time frame so that I can calculate and were these figures produced prior to the recent suggestions by JC and Anil of large orders about to arrive.

Hello Colour.. Just before you go and while you are a sombre mood, sorry that is normal, what are your current thoughts on CC's position in India. It's useful to have up to date technical information and expert advice on our investment.

I was reading through some old stuff predicting size jumps up to 500k and looking at the time constraints surmised a jump to the top end, especially as it was quickly seen that Mysore was going to get early returns on losses and easy to expand. I think that 30th Oct meeting will produce very good results.

Well it nearly follows my 500,000 unit lumps. Hopefully a new order.

Interesting on my screen over couple of days shows 58 buys and 2 sells.
Buy SP has done from 14.50 down to 12.70.
So who is conning who.

Multi, to be honest my concern was hardware, which you say is diminishing, as software can be produced at a fantastic speed or just transferred. You remember JC saying than it costs pennies ergo must be quick to produce.
If we are no longer being involved in installations then we can feed the software out by the millions.
Surely there is more to our expansion than just software.

Hello Multi.. Obviously you have. Two questions why did TATA Mumbai say to CC after the training and first installations we can take over now, presumably with the staff that we had trained, and was Mysore not given to us as lead. Utilities presumably normally do most installations and replacements but surely there is a need for an army of installers for Smart.
You probably have the answers.

Morning all..<br />I have been criticised for being over enthusiastic, sometimes rightly, but my past-life career required 'what if' scenarios.<br />I am awaiting the result of the India meeting on 30 Sept which I think will result in some big orders.<br />I feel the Indore and Mysore will be the talking point. As we know India is a massive market and whoever proves themselves will get a fair chunk. Anil thought Utilities were very eager (my words) over the new Omnimesh version and orders were being taken last year. As it appears Tenders have to be raised on each occasion and with time being of the essence I believe future orders will come in packets of 500,000 or more to speed things up. If new waves of installations can be attached to existing HES then situation will speed up rapidly. Anil will certainly have to train more installers if we are given lead on any contracts.
