Afternoon LTI, yes I have spoken upon this with JC in the past, in response the reasoning was good at the time but circumstances change continuously. If you remember loans were out of the question a short time ago. Now like buses they come 2 at a time (possibly more), one being a surprise, 2 unbelievable, presumably banked for interest. This financial situation plus savings we already hold in the bank must make a good sum. However not if, until we have confirmed contracts in India, we keep spreading ourselves abroad. That could lead to a pennies takeover, as we are a technical company requiring technical salaries, it could all go pop. I have confidence that JC reads this BB, so all our observations help him fill gaps that he has forgotten or not considered. DYOR

Morning LTI, my interest now is the AMISPs that CC is bidding for, otherwise too many loans at present as presumably interest rate started back when loans announced. If going to be long winded and possibly not all needed then I feel JC should buy back some of the shares he sold off cheap. 50m shares into Treasury or cancelled should improve SP. DYOR

Goa, not a great inconvenience but not impressed, expected start in August, so December late enough. Why didn't government start in November. Amongst their many festivals I think they dont do Christmas. Commercials were to be first, underground cables does not really concern CC and there must enough out of 750,000 to be getting on with. Should imagine Esyasoft will be under pressure if they are going to keep up the timetable.

Yes ITT, I could not fathom that 18m deal, must have bought in from other largish holders.

We have often been in this wait and see situation, arguing if we have been shafted or not, but this time, yes this time, with us aiming for 10m units AMISP we will finally see where we are going. I am expecting good results but this year will be my decision making time. DYOR.

I back the strong buy theory as I think this is the year (possibly quarter) that CC Group makes a profit. If not more than just questions will be asked. I feel JC should hold back or tick-over ROW, makes some cash to profit stage, then may be push on. We know the product is reliable and hopefully not too cheap. CC should be looking at the status of other companies Smart Comms, if the are holding SLA wise, are others holding up security wise, if any have had blackouts and if so their cause. We are using chip FG28, what advantage is that over FG23. I have said before CC should produce an online magazine on each of the running projects, I think others do it. There is not enough info to stimulate SP. DYOR

Well harley, I certainly expect CC to do well this year. As you say all the associated companies are doing well like Genus etc, so the question is why isn't CCI. I think JC will come up with some answers, other than exchange rate. The others started in a better financial position and projects, we are now arriving at the maintenance periods where Markups are higher and a multitude of new contracts forecast so now is the time to see the start of profits for shareholders.

The strong buy is in anticipation of a good opening report on GOA and Digismart reportedly making a profit.

JC will hopefully give a good account of current situation as this was the year of profit, theoretically it must be a win win with all that is going on.

Well ITT, you were probably right to withdraw, you were getting wound up by the management situation which could have led to a head on challenge, or did it go that far. Although you said you are out, from a business viewpoint at this SP level you might consider a re entry as could well do a bounce in these coming months.

ITT, as you can see nothing much has changed. Colour didn't have to buy back-in but somehow he could not stay away. GOA is obviously a whole new world of management for CCI but with Esyasoft they will probably speed things along. CC has taken out loans so must be confident of contract wins. I think most had the idea that GOA was going to start Aug/Sept but government had last say of Dec. I recon this quarter could see a big turn around moneywise, I wonder if Esyasoft will quickly refund any stock layout CCI made for GOA. DYOR

Hello Colour, upon rereading, its December. Question is now how do they get these figures so soon after 31/12 in India. With GOA the other thought is first part of installs is commercials and probably feeders, so no residentials started yet..

Colour, aren't these figures produced in arrears, i.e. December next month.

ITT, I had forgotten all about Lyndon, so he didn't create an impression. I seem to remember a Director coming in for the Americas, wounder what happened there. CCI now has a backlog of 9m units and initial AMISP so 2026 should, if all goes to plan, turn out to be a very good year.

It's good to have ITT back on BB. A bit controversial but a necessary scrutiny.

Morning all, another day, another year. I would not be surprised if there is a lot of behind the scenes going on. I think Esyasoft wants into this market and wants CCI as its lead. Therefore I think there will be no constraints in helping CCI in getting as many AMISPs L1. as possible. Esyasoft owns a meter manufacturer and is probably looking for more. So CCI/Esyasoft/Monte Carlo/Intellismart as a consortium or co-operative could pitch for a lot of work. DYOR, definitely only my thoughts.

Hi Gizmo. Esyasoft is part of a multi-billion dollar group I believe.

Gizmo, I wonder if Esyasoft would consider EESL at a knock-down price, they have the cash, presumably EESL eager to sell, full blown entry into India energy market. Just a thought.

Morning all, if GOA got away on time (early Dec) I would think JC will be eager to update us at his coming presentation, being our first foray into AMISP..

To me this is a major step forward into an era of bigger contracts and greater returns. I think JC said he was bidding for contracts totally 10m units. As a ball park figure, using GOA, if 1m = £100m then contracts up to £1bn (gross revenue) in sight. That is the ultimate but anywhere near should put negatives at bay. DYOR

EESL. Quite a sum of debt they have gizmo. If I remember they were selling up 12 months ago, so if no takers then March will be hopeful should imagine.
