If Chari came in because he saw a rising investment then I would think he is involved in this buying episode. If somebody was considering a takeover then I would hope JC would be looking high, at 100p even I would probably not object. Now we have this circle of Esyasoft, Intellismart and possibly Genus all solid players. Esyasoft I believe is part of a massive group and I believe own a meter manufacturer as well, so they have no problems with up front cash I should imagine. Intellismart appear to use us for various functions (possibly management) in addition to Smart modules. With Genus who knows we could still be in with Smart RF Modules. A consortium of all three would be very interesting. Said before but I would like to see CC give shareholders a 2 for 1 free issue of which that new 50% would be sold to the consortium at say 50p. That would give them a protected supply and CC a solid financial backup. In closing there now seems to be an interest in Retrofit, an old original of Cyan, which could be very simple and very profitable. DYOR

Harley, as I see it the SP has been down falsely by events beyond us, should probably have been in the 30p area all the time following consolidation. With the massive order book and more to come should not have too much trouble reaching 50p during next year possibly more. DYOR

Yes Harley, I think CC is on the way at last. India wants to put all this new energy in place if it is going to try to compete against China. There could well be a big surge 2026.

LTI, I feel it will make 10p this week. Probably at lot of info to come before 31/12. The thing I feel confident about is there have been no bad reports about CC, that I am aware of; so product good, capable of RF and Cellular (private, very important), seem to work to time, in with Intellismart and Esyasoft and possibly Genus (we know how Genus have progressed), high in SLA and security. Could see high SP by our y/end. My thoughts.

Morning redone. I don't think it is as simple as that. May be some are hoping from base of 2p,6p etc but many long termers, including funds, are looking for greater results after years of investment. There have opportunities in the past not taken. A manufacturer would probably not want to be tied to us limiting it to their meters alone. We are now in a good position with Intellismart or Esyasoft, so may be they would take a controlling interest. DYOR

Vas this could be a topsy-turvy week, don't know what those sells were about but I feel heavy buys to come. We have got to a position where we are in the deep of it, been waiting a long time to have everything on the go. Intellismart and Esyasoft will be of great value, Intellismart seems to give us good jobs within their contracts and Esyasoft seems happy of have us aboard. Both good value companies and if we can eventually have 10m+ AMISP contracts at £100m(gross) per million units that should be more than enough to bounce us into big time SP wise. If we don't get taken out before could be on our way to my magic £5, dreaming who knows. DYOR

Unusual find Vas, with all that CC has in the box I would go a bit further, large order book and very good future prospects, if breakeven comes at 6p then I would be looking upon a breakout to 12/14p. With all the concerns about Security I would think RF will attract more Utilities as alternative. CC with its current proven rate of reliability and delivery could do well. It would be interesting to know of CC v Wirepas which are the most secure. CC is approved by GCHQ. I think I read somewhere that Wirepas are using a more economical Chip, may be wrong. DYOR

Hello Roddy, I think CC is too small to realistically short it. However you can have what I think was called the 'dull effect' where individuals sell heavy to buy back later if lucky. DYOR

Hi gizmo, VW was that where it shot through the roof. Was it where Funds were caught short, by design, on their monthly balancing and had to buy at any cost. May be not.

Back to strong buy as I (personally) feel we have hit bottom with SP, product not faulty, finance (loans) sorted, many contracts running, many being bid for, GOA about to start a new era, well in with Intellismart, Esyasoft etc. Weighting all up, SP drop due to lack of communications by CC which JC will probably correct in coming quarterly briefs with a bit of Q&A included; Fund sell offs, mentioned on here, due to balancing or members pressure which happens all the time. To me next 2 qtrs should see a bounce back. Got an explanation for Genus, my interpretation we are stiil in with Genus, bench inhouse was for RF modules at the time, so possibly more orders to come. It was 3 to 4 years ago our module went inhouse to Genus I think, could well correlate.

Vas, your line of thought is logical but what I cannot understand is why CC was not name in the contract. If we are named as supplying modules to Genus, then going inhouse with them, then surely by that time you cannot have a 'White Label' agreement. They are now advertising their own Smart Modules for meters. If what you say is correct then if we had been named all along when our SP was about 28p we would have been at 100p surely.

Your last Fulcrum, let it all hang out, I don't think I would get far with all those questions, especially as much of it is handled by CCI I should imagine. JC has said he would do Qtr summary's so hopefully he will extend to Q&A. I have said before that wrongly he has put PI's last in queue, whilst falling upon them for finance backups. Well Harley I suppose like PIs of the time larger fund groups looked at Cyan as the goose with the golden egg, afterall it is AIM and they gambled on if they were going to strike gold. Up and down. Along comes Connode, not only with ip6 which Cyan had not started yet but they were also competitors servicing other half of Mumbai, so excitement was maintained. Cyanconnode has got itself a reputation in India, aims for 20%+ of 250m unit market, either by supply or AMISP, should it achieve that then I am sure we will get our money back several fold. All in my head so DYOR.

Vas, it would be interesting if it was Genus 6.5m is a lot. However would it have not been stated as we are already an open supplier to Genus.

Added comment. To my mind CC is a good viable company, now capable of taking on some large contracts generally. However it must now show a profit or at least declare breakeven to attract share buyers who would probably double their price shortly if GOA starts off well. DYOR

Hi Sandgrounded, no I don't think that there was enough in HES, possibly in meter maintenance, I think the whole era has taken too long for a small company who had difficulty with finance due to size. We are now to the point where India is opening up, I think we should separate India from ROW. If it came to a sell off India could be sold as a going concern.

Sandgrounded, I didnt want to hear that, LOL. I think CC was protected in Patent, I have asked JC so I am sure he will give an honest answer.

Colour, you are good at delving, perhaps you could come up with an answer, we supplied Genus with Smart modules, the graph at the time was very encouraging, then for economy went Inhouse with them, they supplying materials using our knowledge on the bench, then heard nothing and no graphs.

To my mind that was a winner, so what happened.
