Acknowledging that I am an amateur, are we now confusing onlookers with this Airtel conversation. How does CC feature in this setup. Is it good or bad for us. LTI's conclusion is good, so I take it all is well. So are the dealers still trying to hoard shares on the cheap. DYOR
Jake, thanks for Trilliant info. Looks like all companies mentioned started with decent sized pot. You will see from LTI the difference between 'unified' and 'universal', I take it that Trilliant is Unified. CC UHES was I think designed to link RF and Cellular, something I think was new at the time but may be others can now do it. It will be interesting to know the competition in this regard and whether it makes a difference to Smart from utilities stand point. DYOR
Thanks LTI, I suppose what should be considering is Trilliant, has it got this capability. I cant help thinking that if all other factors were satisfactory then it would be an advantage to a lead contractor to have Smart controlled by one company. As cost is still a major concern I would imagine CC is very competitive.
Morning LTI, Vas and All. Things are certainly hotting up. As I said before, Genus and Intellismart to me are a different situation, they are both contracts, what they win CC wins so not that much of a concern as long as CC tells us in which States we are being used. Old chestnut, as we are only a component part the part of the meter (albeit main part) they probably do not want to highlight us. So to me Genus (nobody has said ptherwise) is making us 'Inhouse' on the bench and Intellismart doing bulk on Framework. I am thinking what orders they get we get and that is big. Adani I dont know about. CC have been aiming at 20% of market, if all goes well I see 40%+.
All surmise, but in the past 1m units equalled say SP 30p so 6 times that would be 180p, allowing for increase in share numbers and staffing I feel should be 60-80p right now.
DYOR
Is the bid 11p designed to panic. Are the dealers aware of something and soaking up spares ready for next week. Short risk holding for weekend and possibly very good returns..
DYOR
It's good that Montecarlo are pleased with product. Having many and varied construction sites CC could well be involved some of them. Unless we are still providing modules to Genus I take it that another Manufacturer on our list is supplying. DYOR
Very good start to 2024. I think CC is involved in 170m+ bids, as we are talking what ifs on SP does any one have a thought of value if we opened shortly with successes of group of bids for say 20m units. DYOR
You keep jumping me to the gun Vas. I would not have said it in so many words but from the meter aspect I would have thought that a standard (note the word) dual CC meter the new cellular would probably match up with any telecoms company. Now that is getting carried away. DYOR
I think we all have reasonable expectations of the next few months, I am surprised that neither UK or India PR have not thought up a space filler for this time. Not an RNS but how well we are doing on the ground newsletter, in my opinion necessary for continuity for new viewers or even old ones thinking of further buys. Mostly nobody has heard of us as we do not make meters, need to get well into the £'s to attract a decent future takeover bid. DYOR
Vas, reading you again, that is why I have been asking why BB was waiting to be sub contracted, CC is already on the pay roll of Genus and Intellismart. I worked that one out, it is only the lesser manufacturers for deals to be had.
Evening Vas. I know I say a lot but you have read my mind. Boring, here goes, the question to me is why CC no longer publish Genus monthly meter production (old would have been modules). Genus in their report said they have regular payments from Intellismart. I completely go along your line of industry standard; Genus/intellismart/CC. Again Comms is the only part of a meter that makes it smart. So you have 3 proven allies that will make the system, after all this time spin out quickly, much to PM Modi's relief. As I see it next 2 years will be massive earnings with maintenance contract following up. In the meantime we have ROW to conquer.
As Colour would say what about the £5 you envisaged, a bit carried away I was but hang on its happened before. I was around for early Arm. DYOR
Thanks for that Vas. Yes we are all sitting around awaiting the start of RNS's declaring hopefully large contracts. You and LTI seem to be working consistently together. For clarity and the interest of newcomers, as we know the Balance Sheet figures are conservative and based on the known, these new contracts are additional numbers and could dwarf existing sums which have already done well todate. The bulk of new earning's arriving monthly over 27 months period. So if all goes well then very good earnings over coming 2 years.
Definitely DYOR in case I have anything wrong, waiting in anticipation.
.
Well Colour we are all closely watching India.
With the UK I am not certain anybody knows what is going on. I feel the face of telecoms is changing, will copper survive in any form, is 4G about to dominate, will 5G jump in before that gets settled. As I said RF I feel will be the order of the day, we cant stretch a landline to the Moon. I too would like a report from JC on UK, especially if he has sorted CC's future, if a no go it would be nice to know, you cant win them all, the saving grace is we got IPv6 and we would not be in this position today without it.
