Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Well mcgoof I dont know about JC having a cause for concern I think we have. This was supposed to be our bumper year, and may still be, but by hedging his bets he may be damping SP. He does not say anything and then that. There needs to be another video presentation, no Q and A but very honest. How many of the 67 staff were hired, how many laid off, how much influenze does India CEO have. What was the final outcome of MYSORE, our flagship, did we get contracts for the whole area. Admittedly there were comments about getting a bigger share of market as RF became more popular but as long as we meet our basic target of 20% plus the HES etc. I will be pleased.
It is now up to JC to lobby PM Modi with his views on 10 year costs, Cyber Security, SLA's etc
Just updated reading, surprised at JC's concern, it has always been estimated that CC would get 20 to 25% of RF and more recently has been able to re engineer and do both markets. As SLA's are mandatory what lenght of time is required to prove reliance. I think what is more likely is HPL, who at one time were not meeting requirement are now with, I beleive, Wirepas getting a position. HPL are big and it may just be that the drop in Genus price was due to them. If I remember rightly CC operated with Gateways and Wirepas relied solely on mobile network. If mobiles are subject to drop out and poor security it makes you wonder how any SLA's etc could be met.
Thank you Vas for information. To my memory JC also referred to Genus 'Inhouse' in a presentation or report. We were supplying Genus on credit guarantee covering the one month gap betwween production and delivery where we got paid. As I remember Genus were then going to produce CC on the bench when making meters, JC said that ment Genus were supplying raw materials so no supply chain, to me that is a licence. Under those conditions I would not think Genus has to supply to us any updates and that JC would provide those details. Am I dreaming, DYOR
Hello mcgoof. I don't think it is as simple as that. We have an inhouse agreement with Genus I understand and despite ITT funnies I think CC have a duty to inform us if they undo such a large arrangement. Also with Intellismart we have a Framework agreement for meters containing CC software and much of their deliveries come from Genus. I suspect the Genus agreement entitles them to use CC, as with White Label, as part of their ownship setup. DYOR
Morning all, reading that the Cyber situation is hotting up between US and Russia it will be interesting to see how much concern will placed on RF applications. We understand that CC has very good security so may be importance will be shown to that element.
Morning Vas and LTI, I don't think it is CC that is not prepared, JC took a lot of precautions by buying in raw materials and arranging up to 9 manufacturers I think to be ready. Probably a matter of all Subs being lined up. From remembering back over last couple of years once the switch is thrown (pun) it will be all systems go from CC. DYOR
Morning All, not completely sure but to my memory Genus, L+T, HPL were the trio of big manufacturers we were partnered with. I think HPL had a problem getting their meter passed. I think somebody said they then associated with Wirepas. Again I think Wirepas do licencing so may be HPL do Inhouse. Recently I touched on self healing and self determining, did I read Wirepas is self determining. Totally outside of knowledge but I was reading about AI and control aspect. Probably no relationship. DYOR
Thanks for that LTI. Well done JC, some may think it is boring but to me this is what it is all about. Now may be another presentation incorporating an onsite video and again an update on whats been achieved, what is currently running with map and what is aimed at generally map wise sketched in. does not matter if we get it but our shows total objective of what we think we are capable of. DYOR
Thanks for that jake. Genus is having to layout or engage finance in anticiapation. A 20% retrace after 200% seems small. As we know no share goes virtical without getting oversold. Looking at the charts I recon could hold at Rs 270 to Rs 265. I would not think it would continue to fall but carry on up on any good financial news.
Probably totally wrong, DYOR
I must admit I cannot get used to CC's lack of PR, we know there are a lot of contracts in the wings and we should get a fair amount of them but we have these massive information gaps. Even to tell us about existing contracts and on- site photos would maintain interest. Most current investors are probably sitting on their shares, or like ITT slowly building them, what needs to attract new interest, something to catch the eye. As we are not an asset rich company it is what's to come that counts, just around the corner. DYOR
Hello gizmo, fine thanks, at 80 thats luck in itself. I think CC could do well with the existing system, tarted up occasionally. I think Utilities want a system thats works, accommodates IoT, runs at 99%, quick to install. I dont think they want anything flash that could be interfered with by cyber or AI. Basically I should think they want a locked-in system that counters outages and reports its own faults. Is CC the only one that can provide that?. Way out of my knowledge but anybody got obs. DYOR It is Saturday.
Hello All, there not being much going on I was reading about centralised and non-centralised RF systems. Then I thought about the current anxiety of AI domination. If you have a system that apart from self healing is self determining you are opening the door to total loss of control. Does that sound a bit too futuristic. I dont think CC is.
Apart from Thailand I think we are going to leave running of India and surrounds to CC (India). They are competent, definitely have the right contacts and persuasions and could well take a large proportion of the Indian and adjoining countries work. DYOR
