The flare is going well this morning

I agree we need British , high quality jobs. High skill jobs, with high added value.
I love a good coffe shop or good food when I am allowed to have it. But we have too many people in the service industry. Too many imports, not enough exports.
If we export a billion pounds, made by 10,000 people, but 20,000 are in the service industry, then the billion pounds is circulating between 30,000 people. It is diluted.

I feel we are at the point that many people are working full time but don't earn enough to survive.
Taxes are high. 20% income tax + 20% vat, we don't get left much!

The pump last week had an unhealthy clack noise on direction change. It may have had issues with the increased pressure? However it's been changed. Hopefully it won't be needed soon.

A CPR is a qualified person. They can be within the company.

SS is a qualified geologist and oil man with the correct experience.

However to convince the markets we actually need a higher standard XODOS. Or Slumberger.

It was very sunny for 5pm!

It took 8 days. However in 2016 they put a shed load if brine down the well over three days trying to kill it.
We were never investors then and although swampy was filming the gates, no one was counting the water and oil tankers. So we don't know how many tanks of water to make brine went in. Also I assume you can use the run off water to make brine. I'm sure a bit of mud wouldn't hurt! It was Febuary and the ditches were full as Danny (Lion) was complaint about an oily film ( probobly natural ditch slime)

My point is, there was a lot more brine put into KL4 than KL3

The gas flow is the key. Soon that pump will be off. And the real show will start.

I'm sure an initial flow rate will be put out by RNS once he has optimised peak flow.
Then up to 6 months of flow and pressure build up tests will be exi used to prove and calculate the resivior and the interconnected relationship with KL3 and the Portland oil.

The planning consent is for EWT........ AND...... Production testing.
That is what will be done ;-)

Possibly 30% is concidered recoverable without the water injection well, and 45% might be with a water replacement. Which might need aproval by the OGA etc.

They are still cleaning up the well of the 3 days of brine pumped down in 2016 to kill the well.
Clearly this is taking some time. However , in my opinion the flare is getting stronger. When enough gas is coming out the well can gush on its own and the pump can come off. That could take 10 days or 10 hours more.
Then we will see SS adjusting the choke to get optimum flow. Followed by a rush if tankers.

However , will there be any one around to see this?

There were two tankers yesterday and I have filmed one this morning. The well is still cleaning up.
But oil is flowing..

Morning Heid. I agree, the whole situation is very complex.

I have every sympathy with sting. In all the chaos please look after yourself and watch out for stress during and after all this is over. I drove out of a fuel station without paying just after I left my job to become a full time carer.
It took a good 6 months to unwind from the pressure of doing way too much.
