Jodrell, share price is moving up slowly on a daily basis. As October deadline approaches the anticipation of a positive announcement will drive the share price higher. Milestone rns's move this further north. Then everyone awaits the major milestone. This is the FOMO lift.
When news hits and the proof of concept validated the market cap will re-rate big time.
Govt approval of the test and Manufacturing is the next focus point. This will necessitate new milestones in project delivery.

4% -10% rises per day is a nice steady rise as we come to proof of concept in early October.
As we approach the milestone date FOMO should give additional boost.
A fast test will no doubt provide focus for the government. Everything will be on the table to get this into production and manufacturing.

You are describing the PCR response timeline.
Antigen tests do not have the same issue.
The protein used by Paraytec is an aptamer.
This is an important consideration! So the response is more tightly defined.

Why does everyone not wait until RR make an announcement on due course. They have their own business to run and have to make appropriate decisions which may not include Syme.
Everything else is pure speculation.

Interesting point it listed at $17B and has never made a profit.

Jodrell, competition yes, but no Company can service all capability requirements. Any Company connected with a fast test or even a antigen or PCR test as the ability to prosper. The demand outstrips supply. The best tests in terms of sensitivity and specificity and Time will come to the front.
