anyone have the link to the concessions registers… trader… are you still watching too… daz if they’ve changed the owners of our concessions to exclude rem mexico… they would need to involve us…
propaganda?… doesn’t sound correct… msb have the la ventana concessions… we haven’t been named… so i would assume it doesn’t relate to our concessions…
confirming what ev posted on friday… they’re visiting the mine… specifically la ventana… which is 100% owned by ganfeng… will they be trespassing or escorted by the owners…
if they wanted it… they could have made their own bid to buy bcn when ganfeng we stealing it off bcn’s shareholders… instead of approving the takeover…
RE: Give up the resource yeh right16 Jan 2023 08:44
still looks targeted at ganfeng (cn) and not kdnc (uk)… so worst case is we have a new government owned jv partner… except ganfeng can’t just give it to them without offering to give it to us 1st… ;)
RE: Give up the resource yeh right16 Jan 2023 08:29
it doesn’t say that in the text… reiterates that they want in… but the reaction suggests the meeting didn’t go well… both parties still a their own extremes by the tone of the headline…
5% or 1/20th i should have put… not much… it’s mostly on the jv concessions… but good to know the 8.8mt mre is a safe number and can be expanded at will…
knowing that the stage 1 pilot plant dfs only uses 1/10th of the 8.8mt drilled out resource… and the drilled out resource is from only 1/5th of the visible strike length… the 250yr lom is just the appetiser…
i could probably give you a good case or two to justify 50%… and me personally would be more than happy to wait until sonora is sufficiently de-risked to realise that… once in a lifetime opportunity… could be a difficult decision if anyone offered 15% though… knowing what our capex requirements for amapa are… but ultimately the best outcome for me would be to see it out all the way… to production and beyond… both sonora and amapa really… but i do have a favourite… ;)
sonora 70ktpa x $20k/t = $1.4bn/yr x 30%… $420m/yr kdnc… amapa 5.28mtpa x $120/t = $633m/yr x 30% … $190m/yr kdnc…
;)… the bit that i would change in dm’s post is also it’s relevance to us… if ganfeng do need to sell half of sonora lithium ltd to mexico’s lithiomex… to achieve an amicable outcome with ganfeng staying involved in sonora… which i do believe is beneficial to all… they’ll at least want to recover what they paid for it… plus costs…
just been having another read of our $2bn npv @$6,500/t lce +$333m per $500/t jv scoping study… correcting it to @$20,000/t lce… (20-6.5)/0.5x0.333+2=$11bn x 30% = $3.3bn kdnc…
gut feeling… as seems to be a general consensus… is that our 70ktpa scoping study will be fast tracked on the back of the upsized stage 1 pilot plant… to scale sonora up to 100ktpa lce asap… in a couple of years or so… possibly in production before amapa now…
a reasonable translation of the ganfeng bcn transaction… to set a bargain basement… equally fleeced… giveaway price… that bcn shareholders got ripped off with… i’d reject that offer without a second thought… (even though i’ve rec’d the post)…
