ob Tue 22:04... i’ve just had a quick look at nemaska’s 2018 feasibility study... as you rightly point out they have gone out to a much longer lom... but i don’t think that’s where the most benefit to npv8 is coming from... it does help overall but... high capex ; single stage ~35ktpa lce development ; short payback period ; hydroxide... seem to be the main factors affecting the npv8... i will need to check in more detail as the increase seems very significant... to the extent that... are those figures us$ or can$’s... i wonder what royalties they’d charge for their patented process...

if the demand is there... or the quality is superior... i’d think they will be looking at adding a stage 3&4 years 6&7... if not before... if the contract price is higher than the $11,000/t they’ve used...

you’d need to put $1.253bn in a bank paying 8% apr... and not touch it for the next 19yrs... just to break even... stick it under your mattress and you might aswel burn it at that discount... lol

as i’ve said before ob... the fs is an all inclusive costing... everything is included in it... capex opex royalties gas water electricity stage 1 stage 2... everything... and it’s based on 100% equity funding... it’s a complete stand alone study... and it’s worth $1.253bn npv8... @$11,000/t lce...

Mon 21:28... so we’re looking at a big decision for someone then... $420m in the bank for 8% apr giving them an npv8 $420m for the next 18/19yrs... or $420m in sonora giving them npv8 $1.253bn... drawn down annually at $185m net/year...

the equity level is probably about right... looking at the level of short term debt that can be serviced from the year 1&2 profits...

‘presumably stage 2 will be funded organically’... table 22.1.2 years 3 & 4 capex is ‘presumably’ the stage 2 organic funding already deducted from the npv8 numbers you’re using...

to friday 1st june... according to page 28 of their investor presentation it’s for $50m... mcap currently $181m...

$11,000/t lce npv8 year 39... selling for the equivalent $462/t... and we’ll be buying that 40p pint for the equivalent <2p by then then...

i don’t see the point in going out to 39yrs npv8... the discount would be even more astronomical... what’s $11,000 discounted to in 39yrs at npv8...

is that why they stopped at 19yrs... and why they used $11,000/t lce...

i said make $1.25bn... not for it to be worth $1.25bn...

ob... if you put $420m in a high interest bank account... paying 8% apr interest... how many years would it take you to make $1.25bn...
