Keithlard your right. I should’ve reinvested the money instead of buying a car in lockdown. Anyhow I needed a new vehicle as mine wasn’t reliable anymore (ok let’s be honest I didn’t need an Audi) haha! But my day job outside of Covid means I’m traveling all around Wales, and I don’t have any other luxuries in life, I don’t pay for Netflix, Amazon Prime to name but a few. Nothing! I’m tight ;)

Anyway, I’ve got £30,000 in shares currently with more coming in the next few days (another £5k) And a car that’s 100% mine along with a 12 months emergency fund in a savings account, So all is well currently :)

I’ll continue to invest tomorrow and next week, then I’ll sit and wait. And probably keep topping up monthly when I see fit when I start getting paid my salary as of next month! (I’ve been off work for 3 months awaiting my new contract)

I bought a brand new Audi A1 Volsprung from most of my profits out of John Menzies, Boeing, Aston Martin etc back in December so I’ve done quite well since, I’m in on Card Factory, Mitie, SIG Plc, Menzies, IAG, and Hammerson too! I’m 27 years old with Zero debt and a secure job with the government so I can afford to wait for this to get tasty!

I’ve transferred £5,000 from my savings earlier today to top up in the next few days.

Funny! As I was thinking yesterday that actually, Rolls Royce might well and truly be the next Tesla, certainly in the skies! Look at their instagram and social media.

Rolls Royce is really getting into electric! BIG TIME!
I’m going to buy another £5,000 worth then I’ll sit on my hands with my close to £20,000 investment. Legit no reason to have money in an ISA anymore.

Time will certainly tell. It can’t get much worse from here on in! Exciting times. If you are prepared to wait a year or so you’ll double/triple your investment IMO.

I doubled my money on Menzies in 2020, I held 7,500 shares then I bought back in with 1,350 shares. I was buying Menzies at £1-£1.20

I’m in on RR with 10,000 shares. I’m half tempted to top up another 5,000 over the coming days. Will see what tomorrow brings first and foremost.

As when these things rocket they rocket. I tried to time the market on Card Factory back a week or so ago. Sold out in the Friday. Waiting to buy back on the Monday slightly lower and it shot up. If I had kept the shares for 2 more days (sold on the Tuesday instead of the Friday) I would’ve had an extra £5,000 in my back pocket.

If anything I’d top up and hold. I’m not selling mine, not to get them for a few pennies cheaper.

I think I might top up! I held 7,500 shares in this back last year, only 1,350 now however I think I might triple that later this week. Hmmm! I can’t get enough of Menzies!

Don’t worry guys, keep the faith. This companies going places. 5% here or there is nothing to panic about. Please remember, Card is up 39% this week, 101% this month. It’s not going to be green every day.

I’ve sold out of this stock, pretty much. I’ve got 200 shares to just watch it. Anyway. Reason I stock is I thought I’d be clever and time the market. Silly me. Not to worry! I’ve made money elsewhere this week so I’m happy.

IAG, Rolls Royce, Mitie, and Hammerson have all be quite good so far, so I can’t moan!

If you have used all your capitals gains allowance, as have I for this tax year, then maybe don’t sell any profit making shares before 5th April so this would therefore go into the next tax year and be reset, I believe it’s £12,300 allowance and only 10% to HMRC up to a certain amount. I’ve used all my capital gains allowance for this year so I’ll hold all my remaining shares now. (Don’t even go there, wish I kept my CARD) anyhow, I’ve bought more into Rolls Royce and IAG over the past few days. Rolls Royce is an easy 200% specially with new contracts being won and them reducing their costs.

I held 2,500 shares in these on Friday, Yesterday I’ve topped up to 10,000 shares, long term play for me! And I don’t think I’ll loose sleep over this one. I was recently in CARD, took profit and now re-deploying funds into this.

Rolls-Royce has customers in more than 150 countries, comprising more than 400 airlines and leasing customers, 160 armed forces, 70 navies, and more than 5,000 power and nuclear customers.

After reading that above from their website gives me hope that will this double by the summer and triple by late 2021

I’ve been tracking flights on flighttradar24 recently and it’s clear flights are increasing well.

Not to worry, I’m still a winner I suppose. My current portfolio is still 18% up, I suppose I should be happy that since investing in May 2020 I’ve made £17,500 profit to date. So I can argue with that.

Wishing you all the best guys, wish I stuck with you. Never the less if it drops I’ll come back. For the time being I think I’ll research Rolls Royce and Hammerson a little more.

I sold out on Friday, massively regretting it now as I would’ve been another £2,000 up. Hey ho! If it goes below what I paid I’ll buy back in. If not then that’s fine. I think I might pop my £10,000 money into Rolls Royce.

Highly likely that’s the reason behind the pump!

I’ve made £5,000 profit last week from my portfolio.
£2,000 from CARD so I’ve got to be happy, although I’ve had a soft spot for CARD and really wanted to buy back in today haha!

Not to worry, plenty more opportunities in the market if this one doesn’t fall.

Wow. Sadly I did sell out on Friday, hoped to buy back in today but that’s not looking possible now. As it’s climbing good!

I’ll be honest. I’ve just sold 20,000 and 1,000 shares (21,000 shares) and taken profit of £2,000

If this dips 45p or below next week I’ll look to buy back in. For now I’ll scoop some profit.

Card Factory online must be growing well. Their social media is getting much better, their email marketing is superb! I’ve just had an email at 9am this morning

I held and didn’t sell a single share. I’m holding 21,000 in CARD, Tempting to take profit, I’ll sell around £1-£1.50

I did however sell out of all my US stocks over the recent few weeks. I’m holding British as I can see a great recovery now Brexit is out the way and Covid will soon be gone by July. IMO
