I’m very impressed! They kept me up to date via email too. And their email branding is on point. This stock is hugely undervalued and I’m getting ready to top up. I’ll try wait until after the 28th Feb before adding anymore to my 18,075 shares haha! It’s very tempting though.

I think people forget earlier this year
Aston Martin was trading at £0.29 a share (now worth £1+ in old money)
SIG Plc was trading at £0.18 a share
Mitie Plc trading at £0.27p a share
Saga trading at £0.16 a share (in old money)

All earlier this year. All these companies are now making a come back. CARD isn’t doomed, don’t be fooled.
Sit tight guys. The world will go back to normal and card will be a profitable company once again.

If a right issue comes, please be prepared to buy in as I am.
Don’t panic. All right issues aren’t a bad thing long term.

I completely agree 34adsaddsa, I’m not worrying too much although why would I with an average of 39p
IMO this time next month we’ll be preparing to re-open the country for non essential retail and outdoor tourism attractions. So I’ll come back then.

Let’s assume they do a rights issue to stay afloat until they re-open.(March/April at the latest) We all get to buy some cheap shares! Cracking! I’m in. Then guess what, they’re a profitable company making £60+ million a year. The world will go back to normal and profits will continue.

Shareholders aren’t going to not give the money and the bank will want to help a business that’s profitable. It’s pretty simple. I’m in for a good 18-24 months so a rights issue wouldn’t be a bad thing for a long term holder.

I’m going to halt posting on this discussion and I’ll come back in months to come to hopefully better things. Best of lucky everyone x

Ok Leighton13, relax, my average is 39p actually.

I sold out of Aston Martin at a profit, I left due to uncertainty and the fact they haven’t made a profit for years.

I scooped £10,000 profit out of Menzies when everyone else got scared out. I’ve made 18 investments this year all besides Senior Plc I made a profit on, And that I only lost roughly £10 on. I actually work for the government, and I’ve actually been a director of a half a million pound charity. So I don’t think I’m that bad.

Haha! Aston Martin aren’t going anywhere, I wish I was still invested. Cineworld biggest Cinema chain in the world? Maybe the 2nd?... but their debt is crazy. $6 billion ish? Compared to any debt CARD has here we’re honestly looking at pennies here.

tyla, You’ve hit the nail on the head. As soon as great news hits the market regarding CARD you won’t be paying 35p a share. Try double that for starters.

This will do 3x maybe even 5x within 12 months.
Card Factory dominates nearly every high street in Britain.
This one will be around for the next pandemic and even world war. It’s a profitable company. The banks aren’t letting this one go. If this hits 20p a share soon I’ll top up and average down. Bliss :P

I’d be more worried if any of you invested in GameStop, CineWorld or Aston Martin but there we are. (Secretly wish I didn’t panic on AM and kept them!)

Yet earlier today I quote you said this on BP

Maybe take your own advice and cut the deramping, stop dissing the share, stop crying in your hot chocolate, take the heat that shares do go down aswell as up. As you’ll soon see this one going up in due course. Thank you for your time.

Insane, fair play to Moonpig for holding out. I can’t see it lasting long IMO. If we don’t see £1.00 with CARD by December 2021 I’ll be shocked. Financial Times are saying £1.30 within 12 months so we’ll see.

Crypt, I’m also holding RR for that reason too!
I’ve now got half of my cash assets in shares. Half tempted to pop up. At the same time it’s probably for the best I don’t over stretch myself. I’ll wait any cash calls from my current investments I think. Although RR is a no brainier in the long term.

At the end of the day they’ve got a business model that works and even in hard times it’s hardly going anywhere.

I just can’t get my head around how they’ve valued it so high mainly based on one year in a pandemic.

I know the print business quite well as I’ve been in the industry myself for 10+ years. So I know a little about personalised gifts and the print sector and that’s going nowhere.
